The way the numbers are reminds me of when you try to read in a dream.

It becomes so obvious, when someone has a passion for something, because they are "enthusiastically calm" (gotta love oxymorons) when talking about things they love. This fellagh clearly loves his retro tech, and I love listening to him talk about it.

The fact that he isn't whispering or really trying for his voice to be soothing makes it even better.

8:28 That's a very handy approx of pi, 355/113. 3.141592, but note the last digit is incorrect. If you continue the expansion, 3.1415926535 the two would round up to 3. Still, a nice approximation that's good to almost one part in a million dividing 2 3 digit numbers is quite useful.
