You handled this with respect, understanding and found a way to remain factual and simple. Peace & light to you, and to all those living in that very war torn land. Thank you for daring to go over its history.
Watching this and your Israel video after everything that’s happened the past couple of months so I could learn more about the history. Thank you for always doing your best to give us all of the information in a soothing and unbiased way. Love this channel ❤🙌❤️
Thank you for such an informative video, it feels especially devastating right now seeing the photos of the people and places inside the Gaza strip that you showed from Google earth and wondering how those people and places are now.
@@MrBrewman95? You don’t agree with peace? Unless your referencing Malcolm X who said there can be no peace without freedom but for some reason I don’t think you are
who complains about your videos? they are amazing. Your voice is so soothing. It gets me mad when I hear about people judging the style of somebody that not only is good but treats the content with respect. kudos
first of all, sending all good vibes to regular people over there (on both sides) living their lives under bombs and ongoing terror. That said, as per usual, you managed to talk about it very gently. =) I am sorry you cried, but it shows you care. I also can tell you from personal experience that Jerusalem has something going on about it. I am 100% atheist, but when I went visit, as I was approaching the city by the highway, I started crying a lot. But it was weird. Like tears of joy. And yeah, at the holy sepulchre, I cried even more. Such an amazing place. Thanks for your videos =)
@@JamesBrown-ux9ds nope, atheist as per usual =) bear in mind, I was raised jewish, but also went to a private catholic school, so I really love religions. I know, it sounds unusual, but not all atheists have "religion is the opium of the masses" kind of vibe =)
@@ran52475From the river to the sea is not a pro genocide statement. It literally means from the Jordan river to the Mediterranean sea, Palestinian people want to be free.
@@NiranGs the original Arabic says Arab, not free. It calls for the ethnic cleansing all of Jews. You gonna argue nazi dog whistles are also what they pretend to be? Gonna argue Hamas really didn’t mean to call for genocide repeatedly? The attempt at whitewashing a genocidal slogan is utterly evil
@@ran52475 As an arab i would say u r totally idiot, it doesn't mean that, it means liberating Palestine from the occupation that took place in 1948 We rly don't give a shit about jews or any religion races , we just care about occupation of a country, killing its people etc
@@NiranGsThen why is it "Palestine" will be free? I think you are talking shit, there was never a country called Palestine, you are calling for the removal of the only Jewish country.
Great video I do wanna say though Al Aqsa is actually the 3rd holiest site in Islam, 2nd being Medina in Saudi Arabia where Muhammad made his government and is buried. The rashudins were briefly the first muslim dynasty before the 2nd fitna. and it was the fatimids and their caliph who ordered the christian and jewish sites destroyed destroyed, the next caliph rebuilt them. Thanks for the fantastic video and doing it with respect, keep up the good work!
Hi! Nice video. Learned something new! Can I ask you what your ring symbolizes? I’ve seen you wear it in many of your other videos. Thanks again for a relaxing geo lesson! Can you do one on Puerto Rico or maybe even South Africa? My in-laws just got back from some travels there 😍
My ring is in memory of my mother. She was Wiccan, and even though I don't identify as that anymore, the ring is my constant reminder of her. I won't be covering Puerto Rico anytime soon as it is an overseas territory, but South Africa should be coming in August!
Very nice, but I have some information and observations that you should hear. I don't really know where to start. Well, first of all, the ethnicity of the Palestinians is not Arab, but rather a mixture of all the invaders who passed through that land. They are the sons of Syriac, Canaanite, Jewish, Arab, and Roman, but after the control. They became Muslims and with time they began to speak Arabic. They are rooted in that land literally since the dawn of history, and therefore they have a very rich culture. They have their own costumes. They have a very wonderful style of architecture. You can search for ancient Jaffa, Akka, and Jerusalem. They are literally cities in the Palestinian style and special food, but unfortunately We see many attempts to obliterate identity due to the Israeli occupation. During the Nakba, they destroyed 500 Palestinian villages and ancient cities, and in the recent war on Gaza, the third oldest archaeological church in the world was bombed. You can search and, of course, annihilate the Palestinians and expel them to replace them with European Jews.
Hey , As a Jew, and as an Israeli, I can tell you for sure! That it's an unsuccessful idea. If you want to hear an explanation and basis for this claim, answer me back, and I will write it :) [ As a summary of my claim, it will be based on complete inequality between Muslims and Jews. (There will always be both the complex language issues and the complicated politics issues) ].
This may sound stupid, but genuine question, what religion is Israel, and what religion is Palestine? You mentioned conflict about the Jews and Muslims because they were moving into the land, but what religion is each country? or is it all mixed?
In political short-hands, Israelis mostly subscribe to Judaism, and Palestinians mostly to Islam. In reality both of these religions, as well as Christianity, have coexisted in the region for hundreds of years, long before either state was declared.
Right now I wonder if the people in the photos they took for google maps are alive and that really makes me so so sad. No one should live like that. FREE PALESTINE PLEASE 🇵🇸
