I'm a social worker and the best piece of information I ever received for myself in my schooling was that anger is a secondary emotion. Anger is formed due to another emotion we are feeling at that time whether it be frustration, sadness, humiliation, etc.

In my health class, we learned that anger stems from 3 emotions. They are fear, frustration, or sadness.

I completed the practitioner level two recently and wanted to share some things with you to celebrate. I hope you like the sounds and can gain some inspiration from the words. My mom has a book called "Just for Today". It is something similar to this, but she used it for her binge eating disorder, anxiety, and depression. I haven't seen her read anything like this in a long time.

Thank you Emma, this is definitely my new favourite - even though I haven't made it all the way to the end yet, lol. I think you are the perfect student for the study of alternative therapies - people will be queuing up once you begin your practice - you just give off such a wonderfully positive vibe. I am a counsellor and I too believe in taking a holistic approach. I would not hesitate to recommend ASMR, Reiki or Sound Therapy to clients. Tomorrow I'm starting my exams. And I may lose my scholarship if I don't pass them all. All in my family are really tense and rather supporting them, they're just adding more pressure on me. I feel like if nobody trust me, and I'm really scared. So this video, today, is like the exact thing I needed. I'll sleep now and hope that tomorrow I can wake up feeling capable anc succesful. Such a great combination of sounds with your voice. You always manage to pull all the stimuli together into one wonderfully soothing package. Hi there! Superb video as always Emma, so relaxing and just what I needed after a long day! Just wanted to throw my 2 cents in that while using Reiki as a method of additonal therapy can really help people to relax and promote positivity, some people are promoting the idea that Reiki should be used as an alternative medicine, and that it's healing power is physical. This is absolutely not the case, and should never be used as subsitute for actual medical treatment. Not that I think you're promoting that, Emma, but just as a reminder to others in the comment section that there's no proof Reiki can cure any physical illness - and that you should seek professional medical advice if you have a problem.

Yes yes yes yes and yes!!! Too many people are using things such as reiki to alleviate a physical illness. Reiki is spiritual/mental. I couldn't agree more with you. Nearly as dumb as when people use "detoxes" for more than one day

Yeah!! I just get concerned about faith healers telling their patients that they don't need to seek medical help. In certain very immoral cases, faith healers are directly forbidding their patients to go to the doctors to get more profit. If you have a faith, prayer and action (ie. proven medical treatment) have to work together - not separately.

Ever since I got into university my life became one huge mess. I worried so much about keeping up good grades that I could hardly sleep. I pushed my body to such heights that I would get sick every two weeks or so. I was seriously desperate. That's when one of my friends told me about ASMR and even showed me some videos. I stumbled upon your channel one night and six months later I still come back every single day! I don't have extreme mood swings anymore, I have been able to keep good grades, and my health has clearly improved! Thank you very much for going through this with me somehow!
