It would be harder to manufacture, the shape of a burst bomb is harder to mold than a sphere. Personally I would rather it be a burst bomb but I guess beggars can't be choosers.

That's so cool because when they come out of the bath bomb it looks like they're swimming around in ink! And when they turn clear it looks like they're the same color as the ink and they're swimming around in it! :D
