As a Spanish teacher, I see most people struggling the most with learning vowel pronunciation in Spanish (as it is different than English). The vowels sounds like the following: "a" is pronounced similar to "ah" in English "e" is pronounced similar to "eh" in English "i" is pronounced similar to "ee" in English "o" is pronounced similar to "oh" in English "u" is pronounced similar to "oo" in English I hope this helps anyone who is learning Spanish!

exactly! & that's the cool part about spanish that makes it easier to learn, that our vowels will always sound the same. However in english the word "A", for instance, may sound like "ah" in the word "apple" yet in the word "fate" it does not. It sounds differently. so for us that's a lil confusing. thank you for the explanation ! to everyone learning spanish: i promise it's possible, keep learning 🤍

I was taught spanish at a young age as my first language and I'm trilingual, in school they had a rhyme that went with it "ah eh ee oh oo; el/un (i've had teachers say either) burro sabe más que tú."

you said sink correctly! the “squiggly thing” above the n you were referring to is called a tilde which gives the “n” a different pronunciation also referred to as “palatal n” :)

I find Spanish, spoken by a female, to be the most pleasurable sound that exists in human-to-human communication. It's like the language was designed to create ASMR, thousands of years ago when nobody understood what caused those tingle feelings.

Fr when i went on vacation to Costa Rica I was shopping at this table a woman set up and she like got up and was speaking in english to me with such a soft voice and was showing me her things I was in heaven omg
