Love that Fire & Blood makes the main series even better and vice versa. The whole maester conspiracy angle and also the differing accounts that are presented actually heighten the mystery while simultaneously potentially/maybe/definitely(?!) explaining things, as opposed to pulling a Prometheus as you said ;) If it's done this well I'd looove to have that with lots of my other favorite dense series

Best dragon on screen for me is still from Merlin 2008 tv show. Hes just an amazing character and his interactions with Merlin are so so good!! It also helps that John Hurt voiced him

Meh! I haven’t read any GoT books because … the narrator. I’m sure he’s a nice man but no. I try it once or twice a year and never get beyond a couple chapters. Loved the video.

I don't care for the narrator either, but there is a different narrator for Feast for Crows, Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, and Fire & Blood

Wasn't a lot of this material also in The World of Ice and Fire or is there much more Targaryen history in Fire & Blood?

Yes but greatly expanded. A few sections are similar but quite a lot have lots of extra stuff like Aegon the conquerors reign and jaehearys and Alysanne’s reign.
