I hope Sandor gets to see Sansa again.

To be fair, Arya wanted to kill the Hound and loved the Hound for taking care of her and telling her the truth. She didnt kill him because she liked him and hated him equally. And the Hound didnt die, its subtle, but he is taken in at the God's eye amongst some monks, he is known as the Grave Digger.

There wasn't any rumor stated in the book about Hound was taken by the monk. It is just an theory that he is still alive and was taken by the monk.

well, spoilers ahead...it is very different than in the movie... there the Hound is presented like a good man or at least in the last few seasons we get to know him better.. he didn't commit the atrocities that everyone thought he did. The boy Micah was sent away in secret by the Hound so that the boy will avoid being killed. I never read the books but in the movie series the Hound is presented like a man who is fighting his inner fears with a good heart. He has been a victim of his brother and it has scarred him but as he lives he starts to know himself better and that he is not a monster like his brother. Arya's reason to let him live was presented unclear... and most probably when she spent time with him she understood that he is a good man and she didn't want to kill him and instead left him on his faith. Later on he appears again and joins John Snow and the Dragon Queen.
