Love the vision this man creates in regards to the “perfect roof system”. It puts his people in the right mindset to address issues that may come up rather than run from them. Great customer experience will follow. Really cool to see a “storm chaser” in this light 👍

I heard a ton of bad things about one of the Aspen roofing companies while working the derecho storm out in Cedar Rapids IA. Not sure if it was factual but you know how word can circulate in a neighborhood when working a storm.

This is the only Aspen Exteriors I have ever worked around. A storm north of Indianapolis, I met one of their reps and had a good time exchanging ideas. They had a pitch book that was around 50 pages long lol. Kind of like your guest mentions @20:45 all that basic stuff is garbage compared to the relationship building. I am better than the guy before me and I'm better than the next guy you see. And I'm going to prove it with the relationship, not with the pitch book. The rep used the pitch book just to show me how long it was, we had a good laugh. He was new but sharp and of course never used the bible-sized pitch book. I would love to hear more about this perfect roof system. Seems hard to manage an extremely high level of workmanship as a storm chasing or non-production based company but that must mean their office is amazing and makes up for the remote jobs/contracts. They seemed like a tight outfit and wish them all the best, especially the new guy I mentioned who will remain unnamed. 🤣 Thanks for another great video Dmity, these inside looks are super valuable!

4 mins in so far, wondering how I tell all the different Aspens apart. Multiple one’s even share the same leaf. I started this video thinking this was about the Nussbeck family Aspen out of Lees Summit, MO.

Hmm, makes over 500k a year but those are the ones with the free trip. Wouldn’t it be better for morale to take those whom improved the most over the year.

Horrible business. Unprofessional and unreliable. Hateful to customers. Will take your money but won’t show up when scheduled. Then will argue and make excuses. This company lacks integrity and is incompetent.

60 sales guys, probably another 60 office workers, 23 locations or so, owners or lead guys at those locations, 24 million dollars last year? Am I wrong or does this not seem like a very profitable business model. They "would be more expensive as a retail roofing company than storm chasers" Really? I guess that would depend on how many squares or roofs you want to do a year. Again it's not about what you make but it's about what you keep...and what you can sell your business for in the future or pass on a sustainable model. Another great interview! No masks again...Sad.
