Thanks a lot Ryan. There is still a lot I wanna learn. Fortunately, the season has started : ) and I am thinking about doing some short online drills in near future to spread the stoke. Cheers!
Sick set up Dan!! Seriously, I was just thinking about you yesterday and when your next video when be posted and BAM! Here you are! I just got my first YOW with Meraki System in January and I must say that it is the best truck set I've ever surfskated with so far! Good to see ya bro!
Thanks a lot Bro! Fortunately, the Season is about to start - this was my very first session. I will be moving next to some awesome spots in 2 weeks. So hopefully , this year I will be able to surfskate much more and do many more clips. ---I have so much on my bucket list I wanna learn----. I really like the Yow-Adapter a lot but I think the trailing could be just a bit longer. Over all, I think the Meraki is a perfect all-rounder. Cheers Billy - good to see ya too!
@@DoubleOverhead Actually feels fine to me installing the sidewinder with the manufacturers bushing tightness, which I though was pretty stiff to start out with. I was running my rear truck super loose to the point I was burning through pivot cups like you would not believe so transitioning to the double kingpin was very quick. Sure I have to be a little more careful with wheel bite, but if I had actually got the board over that far, I deserved to fall off.
@@RaetacRages I always use risers for sidewinders when surfskating top mounts. That said, if used together with a C7 and dialed in medium APS Riptide bushings (different shapes) plus risers, I can even run 72mm wheels on my current setup without getting bite. If not dialed in, bite is an issue.
The Abec 11 Reflex Thane definitely outperforms the Happy Thane. That said, 83a is almost a little uncomfortable on rough pavement. The Reflex ZigZags are super fast plus the grip is insane. Nevertheless they still feel loose. Definitely one of the very best wheels I have ever skated!
