That's a pretty sexy mobo. I wish mobo manufacturers would put wifi on ALL of them. Can't be more than a couple of bucks when you're running those amounts.

True man...i hate it, a decent wifi card to a budget motherboard, i would happily pay even extra 15 bucks, wi-fi cards are ugly and usb wifi cards are a pain in the ass.

@@armendcardin4781 No, it doesn't. I wish it did. I typically only buy mobo's with built in wifi, so I'm usually pushed to buy more expensive boards. For me, it's usually just about a cleaner look inside the case, and I don't really like using dongles.

Also most mobo's with built in wifi have the receivers at the top which is out of the way and looks better. Having to plug in a wifi card right by your gpu is cluttered and annoying. Don't even get me started on dongles lol.

I will have to disagree on this. First of all, at these costs, a few bucks can be quite a big amount. Especially with a lot of these mobo's being within 10-15$ of each other, every dollar is an advantage over the competition. Also, for a lot of people, wifi is not needed and is just an extra cost. I, for example, am lucky enough to have an ethernet cable, so having wifi as well, would be completely useless and worthless, which could make me switch to a cheaper board without wifi.

AsRock is really doing great boards with amazing value these days. And I totally agree with you about the drivers disk. When you build a b450 system you're very unlikely to install a disk reader and a 4gb USB key is probably less than $1 to produce. Mildly infuriating.

its pretty minimalist but according to what I see around, its all that is required for your run-of-the-mill build...and RGB/ADD-RGB provisions is awesome

@@GearSeekers I would only go for the R5 3600. I am not looking too much to overclock the CPU. The base specs seem quite attractive and I get an extra 3 months free XBox Game Pass with it. Edit: I will be getting the 5700XT at launch so I may as well wait.

Great board, I built my Ryzen 7 2700x off this! Running 32gb of Corsair Vengeance RGB pro 3200mhz memory and a Corsair h100i RGB plat AIO. Using the Corsair Crystal 280x case in white! With white memory modules makes this POP! Just a super sexy matx! Love it! No issues, Plug & play! Great Review!

ahh I just bought one of these for my first build with an AM4 chip. The micro-ATX offerings for ryzen mobos are kinda limited, but I was drawn to this one because of the metal PCI slot. I know that's not a huge issue but it seemed like the board was pushing a little higher than the "Pro" series. ASRock is really strong lately!

I purchased 2 of these boards for two separate builds, one personal and another for someone who’s paying me. No issues at all and they perform wonderfully. Admittedly though, I’m having issues with the stock XMP and had to tweak timings and voltages a bit.

have the same issue.. always resetting XMP from 3200 to 2133 after shutting down computer... did you solve???

Usually i would go with other brands, but this motherboard looks rly good and has everything you need for the price! I had one asRock mini atx on the past and worked good for my OC stuff for AMD.

Nice looking board. I suspect ASRock released it now due to MSI discontinuing the B450M Mortar. Might be a good replacement if the VRM and VRM cooling is good.

Was looking at every video I could find, even went on the Asrock website couldn't find anywhere if it had a 3 pin 5v addressable rgb header and within minutes of your review I was assured there was!! Love how you go over the connectors and not just the vrms and slots on the MB... Liked And Subscribed

Just escaped the clutches of Apple and have made the move to PC. Went for this Mobo, AMD 2700x, 16GB 2600MHZ, 512 M.2 & 512 SSD all in the ThermalTake Core V21. Pretty sweet little machine and at 1/3 the price of the equivalent Apple. Happy to join the PC fold 🤘

my last 2 boards have been asrock besides receiving 2 defects in a row for my z77 board many moons ago and also having a pcie 3.0 slot die about 2 years in they've been pretty solid boards

Updating bios is the only problem with this board. No flashback bios. Also, it shows warning sign before updating to newer bios, and its Very risky

Im so so happy I got this and for the price it cannot I repeat it cannpt be beat its outstanding and looks great also in an rgb setup you didnt talk about the rgb on the board itself tho this is my first setup I got the ryzen 5 2600 tbe gyx 1660 the legend motherboard 550watt 80+ power supply 16 gb ddr4 3000 5 rgb fans nice cheap case good enough case that is and 500gb ssd all for 615 dollars for my first build I dotn think thats tk bad at all and it will eprofrm for about anything I need it to for now

no b550 at launch or even mentioned for that matter. Also AMD have confirmed there will be no performance loss from b450 to x570 so b450 is gonna be just fine

Austin Michael Depends actually. Alot of B450 have poor power delivery so high end Ryzen may suffer. Especially the ones with 105W TDP.

And they said B550 will come in 2020, and it's already 8 months from your first comment, and then if it's early 2020, it may be 10 months or even 12 months. So yeah, when this board released it's not really that late, specially when B550 released in 2020 (which we don't know when to be exact, but it's supposed to be early cause if it's late 2020... let's not talk about it).

This motherboard support's any AM4 socket ryzen processor. The 3600 is AM4 compatible.

I just built my PC with this mobo, Ryzen 5 3600. My RAM speed is always at 2400MHz. When I turn on XMP profile 3200 in bios, my PC won't boot at all. I had to press the power button and turn it back on, then it revert back with XMP disabled to 2400MHz. Btw, my RAM is HyperX FURY 2x8GB 3200MHz CL16 (HX432C16FB3/8). Mobo BIOS is already at its latest update 2.90 when I got it. How can I get my RAM speed to 3200MHz?

the massive heatsink or metal piece over the HDMI, audio, etc outputs........does the metal piece makes it difficult to fit into any mATX case ?

Did someone notice the missing Clear CMOS Jumper? Just bought it today and realize there is no CMOS Jumper just 2 set of PIN on the bottom. Like in the Video i realize there's no Jumper on Clear CMOS Pin too,is it QC Error?
