Good overview, but I want to see noise statistics, quiet vs performance BIOS power draw/ noise and performance too. Such things. I usually use Quiet BIOS since it is within 3-4% of performance but uses 30-50W less and is quieter.

If you want 6800XT for you next pc build, since supply is low, you can choose only between ASRock Phantom Gaming D OC and ASRock Taichi X OC witch one would you buy ? Price is very close to one another, around 1300$ (with tax, and everything (in Croatia)). Since prices are going up, might as well buy know and enjoy it, than waiting 3-4 month's to findout it will be at similar price.

I would connect two 8-pin pcie power connectors and the third I would make a connector with a few beefy extra capacitors.

Building my first PC since 1998 (to make VR games on Unity..) Bruah... wth did you guys do?? Everything looks like a space ship and has more lights than a Christmas tree! lol Seriously though... graphics card prices are still crazy. Nice to see that things like cases, ram, storage and motherboards are still reasonably priced to sell. Coming at it from a game maker's prospective, it's going to be a challenge to sell games to people that utilize RTX if folks don't have the cards. And users won't buy the cards until the game comes out that requires it. Tough spot it would seem.

With the Asus RX 6800 XT Liquid Cooled I manage 77 FPS average in the highest setting for Horizon Zero Dawn Benchmark 4K with all manual Radeon settings maxed out except the fans that was on default setting. around 2750 MHz clock. So there is another 10% to be had, and if AMD removes the 2800 MHz clock limit even more.

Perfect Price? Does the 6800 XT even exist? I think it's a myth that parents keep telling their children for them to have hope for the future, but these cards don't really exist. I mean, I see the listings on Amazon and Newegg and other resellers but I'm pretty sure they're just pre-rendered photos and no actual product exists because no one has been able to buy one.

is it okay to use one power cable with a pig tail coming off to power the first two connectors and then a separate cable for the 3rd connector? I have Sfx-800w psu that only has two power slots for the gpu.

4 or 5??? in the uk there has been literally no stock of any gpu faster than a 1650 im not convinced that they ever even shipped them here with the Covid lockdown.

I want to build a system for a friend and there are almost no low end GPUs available anymore. I found no good deal on anything from a GTX 1650 (both GDDR5 and GDDR6 variants), GTX 1650 Super or RX 570 and RX580. Even those old Radeons went up in price! And don't even start on mid range or high end cards. Even the R3 3100 that I decided on is out of stock or overpriced, I might have to ditch the upgrade path for the cheaper and readily available Intel 10100F.

Stock for these cards over here at Europe is still non existant. Some of the bigger stores have only received under 100 cards overall, regular 6800 and 6800xt's combined.

Asrock made an absolute GARBAGE 5700xt, and a pretty good one. I really do think the Challenger D shouldnt have been allowed to have been called a 5700xt. Our Esports machines came with these, and with an open test bench, they ALL would park at 1510Mhz and bounce against 111c Compared to my personal XFX Thicc II($50 cheaper than the Asrock Challenger D at the time of purchase) was nearly 20% faster, as it could maintain a constant clock of 2025mhz in furmark

This "review" needs to step-up with comparative information displayed in charts, in varying conditions. It's not good enough to say a proverbial "good job Asrock". A proper, more in-depth reviews of GPUs can be seen on Hardware Unboxed or Gamers Nexus. There is detailed tear down, performance charts, thermal measurements and more. A lot to be learnt from other tech youtubers in terms of how professional review video should look like.
