Finally someone at LMG who doesn’t gives a sh*t about audience outside of NA. I mean who cares if a graphics card weighs 2 cat-asses and 2.78 rat-spleens and is 3.6 Glock-9‘s tall outside of NA? I sold my 3070 and got this XT - I'd never go back to that 3070. The XT eats the 3070, it's just missing out on the Nvidia (mostly broken) perks that you're missing out on. Streaming works fine on it, RT of course is a no go, but the extra power trumps that easily. Double the VRAM of course is great as well. If you're debating which one to get, get the 6800 XT over the 3070.

@Stewart Dolittle because the only reason it still exists is because of simple ignorance, the metric system is actually an even simpler system that is pretty much applicable with anything and you don't have to remember the amounts that go into the one and other (e.g. how many inches in a foot etc) where with the metric system, you simply move the comma (dot for US) around! Trust me, it's a lot easier than remembering that a mile contains this certain amount of yards!

AMD put both the RX 6800 and 6800 XT in a very unique position: These are both priced at 030$ USD more and 020$ less than the original Launch and Clearance Pricing of Radeon VII, respectively (0699$ on its February 07 of 20I9 launch, and 0549$ when it was on Clearance at Best Buy), this puts the RX 6800 in a spot where you can basically get what is effectively a Radeon VII with 2080 Ti~style performance and AMD's new features while those who get the XT variant at almost the same price as the Vega 020 Prosumer card can truly get a proper successor and performance uplift, Team Emerald/Red has never truly had GPUs of this caliber before and pricing them in a way where they can be directly in the middle of Team Green's products allows for those who don't need CUDA, Tensor, and RT functionality from Nvidia to get a card that is ideal for multitasking and applications that highly favour AMD. In order to truly be a proper successor to Radeon VII, the RX 6800 and up will need to be able to deliver at least a 030 to 060% performance uplift in OpenCL and Compute performance over Vega 020, which is why I feel that OpenCL~dependent applications such as LuxRender's Luxmark and MAGIX Vegas Pro need to become a part of the Benchmarking lineup both at Linus Tech Tips and Gamers Nexus; even if the Gaming performance is decent, the Workstation side of things will truly be what is looked into heavily, that 0I6 GB of GDDR VI will be looked into very firmly and I hope very much that AMD has managed to make some serious optimizations in many Media Production and Model Rendering applications, that is who they are trying to truly sell with Navi 020 and this will be where they are truly put to the test in this generation specifically.
