No doubt. They nailed everything. They fixed what didn't work in the original, they added features that stayed throughout the series, they wrote an amazing story with great characters, the locations and scenery was perfect, the present time storyline was intriguing and I can listen to the music score for hours on end. Honestly I don't think they quite managed to recapture what made ACII so good in any game that came after it.

Brotherhood was a joke, it only had 7 sequences, just one city, which was pretty stale at a lot of places and an extremely weak story. Should have been one game along with Revelations.

Exactly! Since AC 3 i've been saying this....Ezio's games were the best of Assassin's Creed franchise. Revelation was the last good game & then, the series started to collapse slowly I prefer this "collection" than any other AC...even Altair's AC. Because it was prefect & the story was so deep (AC 2, Brotherhood, Revelation) the best

If they remake ac1 so the side missions and mission in general are more different to each other like pretty much ac2 just with the best assassin Altair, hands down, i would be all over that shit. AC1; I loved that game, the story was great and loved the theme.

Brotherhood is overrated and Revelations underrated. Gameplay in Brotherhood was waay to easy, Revelations was the same but it did have some tough opponents which you couldnt just counter that easily, + the climbing in Revelations with the hidden hook.. I loved it. The open world in Brotherhood looked almost exactly the same as in AC2, Revelations had its own unique style, and outside of the city it looked like a beta version of a final map that we never got. And the story was the worst of the trilogy (in brotherhood). No character development or whatsoever. In Revelations too, yes, but it was still more interesting with Altair etc. Though I hated Sofia/Sophia tbh. And Brotherhood did have a way better antagonist. Its still one of the better ACs, and even if I dont sound like it, I still loved it, but it is never the best of all the games. Id say both of them are equally good, and both of them are 2 of the better ACs, but neither of them is the best.

i remaster is literally a port with better graphics, remake is the same game with slightly different gameplay, and maybe even added content. This is a 30fps port with little to no updated graphics, and people are eating it up for some reason. I'm just gonna buy return to arkham and bioshock collection. Have fun wasting your money guys!!

I mean, it doesn't matter if it doesn't have Ezio; AC 1 was great, and AC 3, while honestly bland, still had an engaging enough real-world tangential story to make it worthwhile. Now, without Desmond I understand the frustration; however, AC Black Flag did really well to incorporate a post-Desmond story plot with real-world gameplay, which still included the team that Desmond had. However, Ubisoft does need to actually introduce real-world gameplay instead of cutscenes for the next AC; the post-Desmond plot is nothing without being able to actually have impact in the real world as the player-character.

The fastest pre order I ever made! This is an instant purchase! This is the kind of storytelling and character development I wish Assassin's Creed will get back to! The whole Truth puzzles reveals, Subject 16, Minerva and the First Civilization story arch is what keeps me coming back, hoping for an return to the glory days! This collection reveals the glory days of this franchise! PS...this trailer could use some Woodkid music playing in the background. Perhaps for the launch trailer...**fingers crossed**

The Assassin's creed Ezio games and some of my favorite games of all time and in my opinion revelations was the last great game in the series, but I'm not shelling out another 50-60 bucks for slightly better looking games

If they had made a collection from 1 to 3 I would had probably re-bought this, but even if they are probably the best AC's, lt's like the collection is a chunk of story lacking a beginning and an end. I want ACI and ACIII on next gen also. And yeah you are right, friggin Rogue and Liberation as well!

ac4bf was the first next gen ac game =D So yeah they dot have to do that. Personnaly i think they will remaster ac1 next year. And give it as a pre order bonus or something like that because ac will be existing 10 years then.

I hope they do that, if they do then I may get this. I still have every AC game on my PS3 so, I need a good reason to upgrade that series to my PS4. If they remastered ACI and gave it trophy support it would be a dream come true!

Just picked up the Bioshock collection (series im about to experience for the first time today), and now this. Put in countless hours into these games. Can't wait to run across the rooftops of venice with that heavenly OST playing in the background

I hated it. lol In my OPINION: the series should focus on SP and campaign. The multiplier was rubbish and forced. It was just... unnecessary.

+TheDreamManifester ~The Creativity & Passion that went into the original ACB Mutiplayer was Exceptional, with it's in depth balanced mechanics that focused on Skill Oriented Play. The MP wasn't forced & chances are you just couldn't comprehend it, or rather you were just to terrible to enjoy it, but whatever the case: I sincerely doubt that your opinion carries any weight on the topic; you probably don't even understand the mutiplayer mechanics. Like when I say that the AC4 MP was without a doubt the worst MP Ubisoft ever came out with.... You can trust that I'm being genuine and that I actually know what I'm talking about, because I put the time in to learn and study the game. It was forced to get all the achievments in ac4bf. I don't like the multiplayer. And i think that i'd rather have the mp team working on the sp as well. Because the multiplayer wasn't something i like. However the singleplayer was always amazing.

TheNautsHouse If you don't play Multiplayer why would you care about Multiplayer Achievements? Why would you care about the Achievements in general, they don't do anything for you. (Except for the ones that unlock in game content) But even still no SP content was unlocked through MP Achievements.... So, No, I Don't understand how it's forced.

How much will the graphics be improved? Biggest issue playing it on my xbox 360 was the framerate and asynchronous dialogs. I am really looking forward to this masterpiece, again
