If you haven't figured it out already, hold the R2 button down for three seconds, Bayak will lift the sword behind his back with a metal sound and when you're ready to attack, release the button. Enemies with tough armour will be knocked back. Hold down R1 button for light effective attack.

You will need to unlock the attack & push ability. Charge Heavy Attack ability.
