For those who don't know, drummers on battle fields back then told soldiers where the enemy was in intense situations, but it was not allowed to shoot the enemy drummer.
@@Caesarauu For one, it be stupid to waste ammo on someone who isn't gonna shoot you or shoot back. Two... I guess it's kinda like one of those rules of war. Similar to the rule of not shooting medics. Poor bastards still would have got shot in them crazy firing lines anyway.
You just summed up the ROBLOX game "Blood and Iron" in the last sentence. If you shoot a drummer, fifer, or piper in the game, everyone hates you for it.
@@N1ceDreamsz it may of been considered a war crime then, like how it's a war crime to kill civilians or surrendering enemies, it's also a war crime to torture enemies too unless they have been captured and brought back to base (i think, i'm not an expert so correct me if i'm wrong)
still getting goosebumps from this trailer all these years later I remember when this trailer was first released, I was so excited and probably watched this along with the other trailers for this game hundreds of times. It wasn't the most popular ac game but I loved it to bits, it's always got a special place in my heart
Ten years, I saw this trailer ten years ago back when I just became a teenager. I think this was the most hyped I was for quite literal anything in my life
@@AlcatrazMeow "nAh 4 Is TrAsH" bruh shut up ac4 was A MILLION TIMES BETTER THAN 3 the stealth was fixed, the story is better and more easy to understand, the Characters are better, the protagonist is better than connor, the naval combat was better and more easy but challenging, the gameplay and free roam is better THAN 3 etc play the the game first
@@UzairFeeroze we don’t get to see him settle down like the other two but they had multiple games, Connor only had one. He was basically the mentor of the brotherhood the moment he recruited his first assassin. But because of the fact that the colonial brotherhood was decimated they were no longer in a position where having ceremonies and such was necessary but Connor absolutely did become a master assassin and the mentor of the colonial brotherhood. Adewale’s grandson even contacted Connor for training and assistance
Is it just me who's pleased to finally be able to weild a bow and arrow? Regardless, this is the first of the "Assassins" I've actually been eager to play given the concept of and tools thereof. ;)
awww dude, assassin recruits are the bomb. Build 'em all up to assassin level and you've got yourself an army of badasses. Use 'em every time you storm a castle or whatever. They're great during missions. Works for me. I would want a feature like that to evolve, not dissipate.
God seeing that part at 30sec mark, to this day is the single greatest way to kill someone. Blows my mind everytime!! I LOVED this game idk why people hate om this game and character. This to me was hands down the best assassins game of the orignals (up to syndicate). Origins is nasty as they come and dont see Valhalla touching it and neither did Odyssey.
I remember my father owning ac2 gave it a try for an hour went back home to my mothers when I was 10 and begged her to take me to the shop to buy assassins creed 2 with my Xmas money completed that then played the first and brotherhood then revelations and seeing this trailer starting 7th grade I was blown away I’ll never forget how I started loving this franchise and had no idea i would be playing it now and hold dear at 23 years old
Guys don't worry about hidden blades. They were confirmed to be in the game. Its just that probably the default character doesn't start out with them like altair and ezio did. He probably gets it later in the game.
10 years ago! I saw 1777 and I was crying!!! one of the best AC ever made ! I cried because I was about to experience history in a game I didn’t knew and always wanted to learn about !
American Revolution,WW I and II and many other war during history are my favorite! This will definitely be on of the games thatll hurt my wallet at the end of the year!
Wow, war isn't only fought with soldiers, The soldiers need morale. Hence the drum and flag to remind them of their native land. And in bonus you intimidate the enemy.
You guys complain about this game being barren and all, but in the Gameinformer mag, its takes place in Boston, New York and The Frontier ( the big open land where 1/3 of all missions takes place). And yes of course the hidden blade is back.
i thougth desmond was one of the most interresting characters, i would like in tihs game that u could play some more with desmond then in the previous games. god i want to expierience how it ends
I don't know what ubisoft does to make these series romantic, but I believe it is attention to details. I've heard they are going to use new engine to allow more entities participate in battle(up to thousand on the screen).

To people saying that there were other better settings for the game, play Revelations till the end. You'll see why the last one had to be in America around that area.
Man that was a fleet in Port but it took some time to make enough brass arrows that could hold tnt then it was a fleet of splinters in about 45min. but the volley lasted at least 1hr45min and took about 3000 arrows. Not all brass though . But Washington couldn't figure out way we didn't have any cannon! To this day they call it the General George! We had tnt but hardly any prisoners, why the first underground railroad happened . And we always had forgiven. But NOW WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO FORGET THE ALIMO!!!!! Think why That's so important to us. Cannon?
@OhCrzp Ubisoft created a mini series within Assassin's Creed. The Altair series, being the first game, the Ezio series being 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations, and now they have Assassin's Creed 3, starring a new main character.
@jjek98 It's like the AC2 trailer, just with a new character. When people saw the AC2 trailer they had no clue who Ezio was, but after Brotherhood, when he was a little bit more known, Ubisoft made a trailer that fits with Ezios life.
@NIGHTmayr23 Well, technically his birth name isn't Connor. That's his american name. (what the people who can't pronounce his name call him) his real name is Ratohnhaké:ton.(pronounced Ra-doon-ha-gay-doon) Which is why they nicknamed him Connor. See, much easier.
@XakaB I think the hidden gun will be replaced by a regular gun but it has been confirmed that the hidden blade is back from what I hear and to behonest, I think they are smart enough to know they can't get rid of it.
I've never played an Assassin's Creed game before, but this looks amazing. Is there any way I can jump on the bankwagon without having played the others?
