If they stick to the timeline they've kept we should get an announcement trailer for the next AC game in four months, but we'll know what it is before then, I'm interested in who the new protagonist will be and when it will take place. I really enjoyed the naval stuff in both 3 and 4 but I hope they go back to basics and remove it in the next game, it doesn't need to be a part of every game from now on and I hope they don't constrain themselves to having it in every game from now on, it will seriously limit their options and I really want a ninja/samurai AC game sooner rather than later.
Alexander Forbes They can bring back naval combat for some game set in the Caribbean of the 1600s where Henry Morgan's a Templar or something. They'll work their way down the list eventually.
RU-vid in the year 3000: AC 3000 comes out and trailer is released and comments below are still being referred to call of duty that has survived somehow...
It's not really been like that, even since the first one Altair wasn't sure if he was doing the right thing. Whenever he killed his targets he found out they were doing good stuff, in their own way.
We really don't know yet but I really am going that graphics in gameplay eventually look like this trailer. Anything less really isn't "Next Gen" is it. It's 2013
game looks awesome people where disapointed with assassins creed 3 but i wasent, and rumour has it that assassins creed 4 will be on PS4/XBOX720/PS3/XBOX360
Not the first time that's happened you know. There's a few more games that are on the steam page that I see and say, hey. Didn't they just make a new one?
am i the only one who wants the next game to be about haythem. he is a cool character and i want to see his back story and why he chose to be a templar
Judging from how much people loved the naval mechanic I think it influenced a pirate themed assassins creed. I like the looks of this. They may be milking but by damn they are milking it in a way that actually pleases the fans I say.
Yeah but for PC there are going to be new Graphics Card, Processors and what not and we can actually build our own PC, although for consoles... well... you get it, and you stay with it as it is until a new console will be released, and who knows when a PS 5 or Xbox 1440( I don't know if they'll be really called like that, but anyways ) will be released.
No. This isn't Disney. Jack Sparrow doesn't exist outside of the Disney realm. Edward Teach (Blackbeard) however was a historical figure (c. 1680 - 22 November 1718) he was shot five times, and cut at least 20 times during his final battle, at Ocracoke Island.
Well Brotherhood ruled, and the comment i first posted was a mistake. The gameplay in AC3 isn't as liberating and you feel a bit controled in free roam. But Revelations was an amazing game at least for me. My favorite AC was and still is ACR. That's just my opinion bro.
Are they milking it? Yeah, sure. But I dont give a damn about them milking this or not. I love god damn Man-o-war and Ship-of-the-line and the age of sail which was the pinnacle of the manly romance fantasy ever materialized. For that reason, I strongly approve of this. I dont give a fck whether AC3 sucked or whatever. THIS looks GOOD
Well they have certainly got me interested in this franchise again, But they really need to get over every character having to wear the Assassin's suit, or at leasts try and blend it into the costume of the time, I mean your supposed to blend into the crowd as an assassin, not stand out like a sore thumb.
Wow! I got really excited for Ac3, but I think that that game was too out of the series. If they make this game combined with all the good stuff I'll defiantly get it.
that guy might have been a templar, and in this game the character was trained by the assassins, but is not an actual assassin. he does not adhere to the Creed
AC2 had a few good new features. Namely, greater freedom of movement, larger locations, beautiful scenery. But it had a really cheap story with shallow characters compared to its predecessor. It introduced an unnecessary cash, healing, and tycoon systems. It took away the creed, it replaced the assassins with scum, mercenaries and outlaws who pursued largely personal goals. The blending skill became an exaggerated joke, as NOBODY looked even close to Ezio. AC1 was the only Assassin's Creed game.
The narrator is a little bit too cliché for my taste, I don't like the "captain Jack Sparrow" concept. But I think an assassins game on the carribean with pirates can be a cool game :) Especially since the naval warfare was the best part of Assassins Creed 3 :)
honestly im glad that the story line will go back two generations before the complete cock and balls up that was connor. And from the looks of it, this story line will be giving a whole new aspect to the actual "creed". Some bad ass pirating and extortion is an awesome breakaway from the boring assassins=good, templars=evil bullshit
