I hope they skip a year again with Assassin's Creed, the extra year is really noticeable. All the little details like these make it so cool and makes it worth exploring.

There’s an Easter Egg that references the Mummy in Dodjer’s pyramid. (Don’t know if I spelled that right). It’s the only “step” pyramid that you can enter. Imhotep was the name of Mummy in the film but he was actually loosely based on an actual Egyptian priest. He was also an architect, a healer, an alchemist, philosopher, and knew many other trades. He built many of the first pyramids which were the step pyramids that you see near the Great Pyramids he also built the Tomb of Dodjer which is the 3 layered pyramid that’s more further out. While exploring, you can find old papyri that reference Imhotep and what his progress was at the time he built that particular structure. There’s also a burial site in where Imhotep was said to be buried but the sarcophagus is opened and empty.

Honestly, if Ubi wants to keep up their yearly release schedule while also maintaining quality, they should just alternate AC and Watch_Dogs titles. The most recent entries in both franchises were huge improvements over their predecessors, and since they've established that the respective universes are one and the same, they could even start telling a much grander, franchise-spanning epic than having two "connected" but isolated franchises.

@Gameranx: The wall to the North reference is to another letter that, at another small fort North of that area, is another scroll from another guard saying "Guarding the North wall is boring, I wish I was guarding the storage"

1:32 i don't know is this an easter egg but if you go ahead in that location to the alexandria on the north wall there is an guard post when is information where the autor tells: I want be move to mareia military storage because it's so boring here. I think it's connected I mean this two locations

There is a reference to Final Fantasy 15 on a mission called "A gift from the gods" where you have to free Ardyn

Desmond is mentioned in the cinematic of the voice in the tomb that tells about him stopping sun flares or something and saving the world.

Technically, the Far Cry games are also intertwined, since in Far Cry 3’s Lost Expedition DLC there are numerous references to 21 December 2012 and Abstergo Industries. Therefore Assassin’s Creed, WATCH_DOGS, and Far Cry are all in one interconnected universe.

Not sure about "the wall to the north" reference, there is a guard post on a nothern wall in Alexandria, where you find a similar message that reads that it must be far more interesting at the southern barracks or something like that.

All three of Ubisoft's big open-world franchises are connected, meaning the events of Assassin's Creed, Watch_Dogs and Far Cry all happened within the same fictional universe.. Pretty old news, in Far Cry 3 you could explore an old facility... which, if you read the notes and noticed the symbols. Was an old Abstergo research facility.

You forgot one thing, in the game there’s another Game of Thrones reference which is a rare spear called Needle, and the description of the weapon is “Stick ‘em with the pointy ends”. For those who forgot you can rewatch season 1 and there’s a scene where Jon gave Arya the sword “Needle”.

@gameranx you guys are indeed overspeculating at #8. North of the Military area where you found the letter is a town wall. On there are also military forces and you can find a letter basically saying the same about the storage. "Blah blah its so boring here, nothing happens, i bet its way more interesting at the storage in the south"

What about the falling meteor that allows you to get the final fantasy sword, shield, and a new ride, a "bird camel". It's pretty dope. I think it's a random "right place at the right time" type mission

While i was doing "The Champion" side quest in krokodilopolis, i heard some dude chasing a girl screaming "i will get you helen of troy" and for anyone with minimal knowledge of history and mythology, helen of troy was the daughter of zues.

Its really cool that assassins creed and watch dogs exist in the same universe because their both really great games

There’s another easter egg and it’s one of the synchronization points and i think it’s in faiyum it’s in a lighthouse in anyway there is a note how somebody wants to be like a medjay and do a leap of faith but when you do it you see the body full of arrows on the surface beside you

#8 is not a GOT reference. There’s actually a wall t the north of this place with a letter saying the opposite (that the wall is boring and the storage might get more action).

Number 8 is not a reference to Game of Thrones. The joke is that if you actually go to the North Wall in game, you can find a note that says that it’s boring at the North Wall, and that they want to work at the Storage place.

I forgot where, but there IS an interactable note in the game that said " I know a guy who knows a guy who knows another guy"

i loved the fire sword but after that i got the wepon from the quest God's gift if you know that quest you likely to see a bird man creature i belive it's horus and that set of armour from sphinx was easy to unlock except the silica part it had me wondering in every tomb possible to find silica

There is a gate to the North (reference 8) and you can find another note that say someting like he wants to guard the depot insted cuz he thinks is more fun in there

About the game of Thrones one. If you actually go to the wall to the north there is another note which says something like "its so boring here i wish i was guarding the barracks" which i beleive is just a joke not a reference

In the sidequest ''The flea of Cyrene'', you have to help a kid named Esio, wich is clearly a refference to the original assassin's creed protagonist named Ezio.

The letter were he stated that it must be so much more interesting on the wall to the north and on the actual wall to the north there is a note saying that its more interesting at the storage facility or something of that kind

1:35 is wrong. If you go to said wall in the north, which is the gate to Memphis (or Alexandria?) , you'll find another message thats says something like "Its boring here. it must be far more interesting in the south.".

Watch_Dogs released in 2014. They revealed it in 2013 with that famous demo.

The wall thing is not a reference to GOT...there is actually a wall outpost in the game, if you go there, there is a note saying the same thing, but in reverse "guard duty at the wall is boring, I bet they see more action at the storage depot"

The thing with the heatstroke...I also had some weird woman behind me on the horse who talked to me...don't know if it was because of the main story or the heatstroke...got it triggered after I followed the floating scarf and the woman was also mentioned by a half buried body in the desert. Where a man followed a womans voice...well I have somewhat seen here. Watch the few early episodes from my Chronolgical AC Playthrough and you see what I mean.

For that armor you get in the Sphinx Tomb after you solve all 12 star circles you also need 50 gold crystals or whatever the name is you didn't mention that. Btw gold crystals you can find in tombs and sometimes on a very high mountain.

At 1:44 if u go to the north wall of Alexandria it will have a papyrus saying I wish I was a the northern base so it just a cool little thing by ubiosoft to make the game better

i'd say the wall reference is likely a GoT reference but it could still be referring to Hadrian's wall. but seeing as the encampment is Greek and not roman i'm not convinced of that.

The sword isn't a Easter egg. The fire enhancement can come on a variety of weapons. And neither are the hallucinations.

the far cry universe is also connected to the AC and WD universe, check out the far cry 3 side mission.

I found a Narnia refrence it's in dionosys in the temple there is a lion referencing the lion (aslan) death in narnia

The "north wall" letter isn't really an easter egg. In Alexandria, there is a South Wall guard post, and a North Wall guard post, so I don't think it's a reference to GoT.

I love the series and Origins. Cant wait to see what Ubisoft makes of everything in all mediums.

The note about the wall is not an easter egg about GOT, it is simply a joke. If you find the north wall, you can find a similar note wishing to be at the south depot, because the wall duty is too boring.

I had no clue that you could get hallucinations in the dessert

Origins so far has fewer issues running on my pc than alot of other games.

Also you can get a unicamel I unlocked it but I don't know how I just saw it pop up on my screen

the only fun about the game is fighting the snake death and climbing the Egypt walls. Everything was okay i missed the whole walking into the crowd without getting spotted though because in this game its a lot harder to be very stealth without it or even having a clok to make you invisible.

After killing all of the soldiers in one of the Armory's in Alexandria, I found a fire burning in the top of a tree across from the front gate,and I didn't do it.Another burning bush perhaps?

You left this out. While playing the game I found a Final Fantasy reference. In Saqqara Nome you can find a mission call “gift from the gods.” If you complete the puzzle a Final Fantasy character will come out and do some crazy stuff and fly off on a mechanical dragon. After that Bayek gets a legendary sword, shield, and Chocobo camel mount.

The one with the wall of the north actually has a deeper thought. If you go to the map and look at the north there actually is a wall. And a fact that makes this even funnier, is, that you can read a note on the wall that says that it must be more exciting to work at the military point.
