Sean MacKenzie And they were also more fun for it. I also liked that if you played any strategy too much or simply played dodg'em too long they simply shot at you.
The first altair scene.. he smiled at ezio which kinda showed that altair knew someone like ezio would be there to carry on the creed. If there would be any single assassin who comes even a little close to altair. That would be ezio
0:48 The way Ezio dealt with the arrow is legendary, the reaction of his mouth coz of the hurt, how he didn't go down easily coz he learned and endured so much that he almost isn't feeling pain anymore, and he knows what could be waiting for him there. All this led to that legendary moment in this clip for me
"I am weary of this fight, not because I am tired, but because our struggle seems to move in one direction only..towards chaos" Arguing on the internet in a nutshell
Quite possibly one of the best CGI intros to any video game I have ever seen. The action, the words spoken and the music playing in the background are just the main points of how great this intro really is.
"my story is one of many thousands and the world will not suffer if it ends to soon" that's epic as shit but it goes far beyond this video game's that's a deep quote that you could apply to real life
Ezio will always be my favorite. He was a great man in any way and also a badass-fighting grandpa in this game. Just look how Ezio headbutts a guy with an iron-helmet like it was nothing xD His quotes are BY FAR the best in the series, to me even the best in any video game. I totally love such characters that make dramatic, powerful speeches like that. Ezio is love, Ezio is life.
I love old protagonists! I simply have a strange affection to them. They're the wise, old people who you would never expect to be badasses in a battle. Once again, love'em. Ezio forever!
Someday you go through the rain! *Dudun DUDUUUUN* And someday you feed on a tree frog! *Dudun DUDUUUUN* It's ordeal the trial to survive! For the day we se new liiiight! *Dudun DUDUUUUNUUUUUUUN Dun dudun dun duuuun* I give my life Not for honor, but for you (Snake Eater) In my time there'll be no one else Crime, it's the way I fly to you (Snake Eater) I'm still in a dream, Snake Eater I'm still in a dream, Snake Eater (Snake Eater...)
Its a powerful scene at the end, when Ezio almost thought his end has come, but seeing Altair spirit on other ledge, giving hope "You got this, son". Without even a single word spoken in the scene apart from epilogue, still gives us strength to never lose our hope, whatever happens in life.
Nearly ten years and this is still my favourite AC scene, not only is it well shot, acted, and choreographed, but both Lorne Balfe's soundtrack and the monologue manage to make the scene both badass and emotional, you can feel how tired Ezio is becoming yet feel his drive to finally find answers.
I am weary of this fight, Claudia. Not because I am tired, but because our struggle seems to move in one direction only. Towards chaos... My favourite words here.. Ezio's voice makes it more epic.
There's an attention to detail here that is excellent... The platform that Ezio is forced onto, where Altair's ghost is on the second platform is the exact moment of you performing the first leap of faith in the original game. Same spot.
5 reasons how he survived the fall 5.he's epic 4.he's strong as sh&$ 3.he's tall 2.he's a fricking assassin 1. and he's EZIO AUDITORE DI FIRENZE!!!!!!!
here is a few other reasons: *Assassins are usually trained for high altitude maneuvering as well as martial arts combat, so Ezio knows how to land, position the legs to spread his weight and absorb the impact *After many years of living a hard life Ezio's muscles are hardened to the point of steel *He didn't hit solid rock or hard concrete, he was damn lucky (I know I know), he landed on an old wooden platform with nothing below it, the wood partially gave away and that lowered the force of the impact even further I did however had to watch it a few times to see when he released himself from his bonds, that one puzzled me for a while
solesurvivor5 actually he fells over four floors, ans it's possible to land like this without getting really wounded. (and nobody do this all his life like ezio so we can understand that he is a little stronger than norml people :) )
Im coming back to this Cinematic every now and then. This is just such a masterpiece. Especially if you invested over 60 hrs in AC 2 and Brotherhood to see how Ezios End starts.... it breaks my heart everytime especially when he says that his story is one of many and that the world wont suffer if it ends to soon.
They really changed Ezio's face. I know he's aged but he looks like a completely different person from the Ezio in Brotherhood and AC II. Same goes for Desmond, he looks terrible in Relevations and AC III.
Honestly have no idea why so many people thought that this was a "Bad game". I think this is one of the very best in the series. Emotional, engaging and while it may not be perfect, this was a perfect ending to the Ezio series.
Probably because of the combat, the hookblade, the Den Defense minigame, and the small Constantinople. I honestly liked the game though, and didn't mind any of these.
I shed so many tears watching this after so long. I grew up with this game ever since it came out and I havent played it for a good 3 years now. So much has happened in my life since then, and whenever I was falling apart, Ezio's quotes were running through my mind. My heart melts watching this after so long. :(
Such an underrated series. Now it's just mindless Fortnite. These games made you think and reflect, and whilst some parts are historically inaccurate, the games were very in depth and offered alot of information on Italian/European history. The quotes in this intro alone are so accurate. They apply to all of us.
Am I the only one who when they first watched this said 'God dammit Altair. I wanted to see him take out all those assholes." I've watched this so many times and get chills hen Ezio is shredding through them like nothing and it makes me wish they made an alternate version where Ezio killed all of the Templar soldiers that were surrounding him and THEN Altair get's to walk past him.
CockAsianUnicorn I agree with you. When the game first came out I thought that it if Altäir hadn't appeared Ezio would've cut through all those like they're nothing. dudes like 55 in this and he moved like he was in his 20s.
Yes cause we seen him went from a immature brat who didn’t want no part with the brotherhood all he wanted was his revenge and take his mother and sister far away as possible an later on we see him as smart man who’s totally different from the 17 year old ezio we know he become a wise man
"My story is one of many thousands, and the world will not suffer if it ends too soon" That line is just completely awesome. Shows how mature and wise Ezio has become.
Is it the music? The cinematography? The fighting. The letter. The story telling. The continuity? The assassins actually being assassins? Maybe it’s all of it. Either way, this is the best video game intro cinematic
This opening cinematic is incredible, not just visually but because of the monologue on top of it. Ezio seems to have gained much wisdom and maturity over the years. He has become a stellar example of all that the Assassin Order should be. His letter to Claudia is a prime example. He gives her all the facts and is prepared for the worst. Great monologue, great game, great voice actor. AWESOME! :D
@@johnsonwithat2322 as long an assassin can move he is deadly not all their moves require running you should know that as he kills people even at his old age
I remember when I first saw this opening cinematic years ago, and seeing Altair's ghost gave me chills, DAM this trilogy was epic, imma miss Ezio and Altair
Ah, back when the assassin's creed games were good, and the characters and their stories actually made me feel. For me, this series ended with this game. MAYBE 3, but it's a stretch.
