@@AdrianDanielGuard reffering to 1400 hundreds knight armor, at the time of Valhalla they didn't have the tools or furnaces needed to create that armor
Not just a knight. That's a Varangian Guard. They were literally vikings outfitted with the best weapons & armor money could buy, and they fought for the Emperor of the Eastern Roman Empire in Constantinople. Some of the most dangerous warriors in history. Of course, why this one is in France is anyone's guess. But hey, makes for a cool trailer. The main character here is essentially fighting another Norseman, who chose to become a mercenary rather than raid settlements.
@@teriyaki_34 dude it took me 59 tries to kill the last mercenary which give you the fire horse. It was when i was still kind of a low level and i sat on s roof shooting at his head for 1 hour
That's what happens when you hire historians to consult during the entire development process. They did that with Odyssey so I'm assuming they did the same here.
@Akhileshwar Sharma Voice actors just better, The only time the gender is important is the Ending, I'm not Gunna spoil it but It has nothing to do with eclipsxics comment
@Akhileshwar Sharma No but it doesn’t even seem like Ubisoft tried with female Eivor, it feels like they just slightly remodeled male Eivor right before the games release.
female Eivor is actually more canon throughout the main story and Eivor is a Nordic name most often given to girls. the AC comic Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Song of Glory also focuses on Eivor as a little girl not a boy :)
@@okaka5398 They ruined the meaning and symbolism of the missing ring finger, Assassin's logo, and even Bayek had nothing to do with the Hidden One's after he cleaned up Egypt, his wife finished everything and ran the Hidden Ones.
For those who think it's not an assassin s game anymore, the game gives you the option to choose the style, I'm playing as an assassin and absolutely love it. 😋
Am I the only one that wants to see an Assassin's Creed game that takes place in modern times? Like not necessarily the 2000's, maybe like 90's or 80's. I think it would be really cool.
I’m glad Assassins Creed is evolving, I’m sad that Odyssey wasn’t amazing but I don’t understand why everyone hated that it wasn’t the same and now they are hating on it for trying to mix it up. You don’t have to have white robes and a hood to be an assassin Edit: grammar
Assassins Creed games in a nutshell: 1. Tragic beginning 2. Rescued by allies 3. Grow up to kill some bad guys 4. After killing the last bad guy, he/she joins a group known as the Assassins.
alexangel yeah it doesn’t even have the same style or gameplay any more. Just feels like an entire different game I don’t know why they just don’t call it something else
So if I make a game that has absolutely nothing to do with Assassin's Creed but there is someone who has a hidden blade does that then make it an Assassin's Creed game?
Who else is in the 6th january 2022 watching this trailer and getting goosebumps and chills from this AMAZING trailer, when assassin's creed used to be about assassin.
That is because this isnt really AC anymore, they just use the Title and "must have" parts of AC to sell it as a "AC" game... Should have renamed the games long ago and sold them as a new game series instead...
Imagine we don’t play as any Viking warriors and we do actually play as a skinnier, rogue-like type. I guess that’s kinda like AC3 when we played as a Native American when the whole bit war was the British v US
Weren't they the ones being attacked because after the burning houses, it was transitioned into people rebuilding their homes and Vikings being friendly
@@aasthasharma3219 There's your problem right there, the game really isn't designed to be played on a lap top, even the min specs are going to push alll but mid range to high range lap tops too hard. Me I have a desktop with a geforce 2070s and it runs like honey on UHD 3425x2600+.
It looks cool as hell but these new AC games are getting further and further from what the name implies. The only thing seen in the trailer that really tells us it's AC is the hidden blade. Otherwise it's just a viking game.
I’ll be raiding lindisfarne and axing monks for the gold crosses they hold up expecting it to save them. That’s as viking as it gets because it actually happened. June 8th, 793AD.
Odyssey and Origins BOTH have hoods. The Odyssey game just does not start you out on them and they are found throughout the world. Or you can buy them. They even have specialized versions of them. But in spite of the Hidden Blade storyline.....you don't get one. It makes sense, thousands of years later, that the hidden blade would be possible for a Viking to have.
@@doub1e_b1ink77 that's what's fun with the assassins creed games, there are different stories from different times in the world like pirates, Egypt, etc and how the Vikings, yet it's the same mechanic
@@siavashpurfallah3552 yeah that was the main problem, the writer just went off the rails. I found Bjorn and Ivar to be promising initially but it morphed into some rushed saga as if they were trying to cash in on GoT vs. sticking with the characters that made it great. I went from being a big fan to dropping it after S5 I think, have no idea what has been going on since.
