SaVage Dude Freedom Cry is a direct sequel to Black Flag, chronologically a little over a decade later. You play it right after Black Flag and before anything else. Liberation is trickier because it takes place entirely during III, and it’s not like with Rogue where you can pretty-neatly place it between III’s Haytham prologue and the decades-later main part of the game. I could be mistaken, but Liberation takes place simultaneously with the middle of III. You could pay attention to the date at the start of each chapter and try to micromanage swapping between games, but it would be tedious so I wouldn’t bother. Liberation is far more loosely connected story-wise than the others (Aveline goes to New York and fights alongside Connor once in a sort of side quest, and that’s about the only connection for the main story, so you could play it after III and be ok.) If I had to try, I would try to line up Liberation’s snowy New York section with III, and other than that I wouldn’t worry about getting it exactly, because you’d be micromanaging it on a month-by-month, or even day-by-day, basis.

AC died after rogue. Even unity was decent compared to these recent rpgs

Everybody wanted a conclusion Connor, Shay & Arno's stories as those 3 games tied into eachother but Ubisoft just abandoned it.

Corrupted? They were blinded, Achilles was an callous person for not heeding Shay's word and his Assassin's brotherhood blindly following Achilles. And the deaths of Achilles's wife and son made him a worse person that he already were. Shay after witnessing the error of his way by following order blindly... all those innocents live lost, he turn his back from once he called brothers and sisters for the greater good, saving the world. Also before Lisbon was Tahiti.

I feel like this game was just an afterthought. Similar mechanics to Black Flag, but has 3's inferior, but decent graphics. It would've done better if it had the production value of a "main" Assassin's Creed Game.

You realise that Unity and Rogue were not made by one developer but 2 different? Rogue was made by Ubisoft Sofia while Unity by Ubisoft Montreal so they didn't interfere into each other's projects.

The problem is that fanboys can never see the bigger picture of it. The Assassins want “freedom” which will turn into chaos. Templars want order, which could backfire, turning into chaos. Both groups basically want the same thing but different ways of achieving it. But unfortunately a lot of the fanbase is too retarded to understand.

Also, he stabs him in the lower back, and the guy was bleeding from the upper part of his chest... This was a scripted cutscene, like all of them. So it doesn't matter where you stab him, the cutscene shows the same stuff...

​@@JJJJ-lk8wjThat's debatable, the only thing stopping Shay back would be his age but Ezio was in his 50s during Revelations and Altair was killing people in his 90 so I think it wouldn't hold Shay back too much. Connor is probably the strongest character in the series but he makes bad choices and is too hot headed, he also isn't that great at stealth. Shay is very well balanced plus he has training as not only an Assassin but as a Templar, and he has deadly weapons and gear like the airsoft rifle that also doubles as a grenade launcher. If a game like that ever did happen (which I doubt it ever will) then it would be cool if they let you choose who wins, you could either play as Shay and kill Connor or vise versa. Since we don't know anything about how either one died it could just be up to the player to make the choice.

Boring and predictable. Far more interesting to me would be Shay and Connor working together as they had similar views in many ways. Then a templar or assassin who didn't agree with their truce gets one of them killed, and shit starts again. I would like for more of that gray to remain instead of another vs situation. Shay and Connor having a truce is far more interesting then another revange thing. Also templars pretty much rule america in modern day. So it makes sense that somebody got rid of assassins in america more thoroughly. Easy way would be Shay goes and takes out Conner with long distance weapons (close combat he'd lose probably and Shay is smart enough to know that). But thats also boring. Them having a truce and working together, creating the longest period of stable peace between the factions and helping native tribes together (as both have ties with them even if in different ways) giving us a glimpse of what could have been, before possibly old man shay gets killed, maybe taking a lethal strike ment for Connor. He feels Connor is needed to keep the assassins from going down achilles path. So he saves him. Connor tries very hard to keep the peace but fails because withoud Shay to hold the templars back. A nasty templar could be in charge after Shay. or a good ish templar who blames connor for Shays death. And they take no prisoners. War breaks out again and Connor is forced to hunt templars once more. His wife as per canon leaves him in this period because she cant watch him lose himself in this fight anymore and how it breaks him and she does not want her children involved in this tragedy. Connor makes the hard call of fighting for a better future instead for his own happyness and family. He saves many lives, makes a difference where he can. But the assassins and templars have no clear winner by the end. Leaving another future time open as the moment the templars gained the upper hand again. Maybe after Connor died. Or a whole different story, but something that shows Shay and Connor as the layerd not traditional Templar and Assassin they are. Them being allies, possibly even friends in a way, is a story I want to see. Not a hunting eachother thing. We have games enough of templars and assassins wanting to murder eachother. lets tell a different story. Also I dont want to see either murder the other. I want both to get a worthwhile story and meaningfull ending as they are both such facinating characters. Them just killing eachother seems like waste of potential for either of them.

Ironically, Shay was more of an Assassin than the Colonial Assassins (under Achilles) themselves. It would be much cooler if Connor initially attempts to hunt down Shay but then, after listening to Shay's story, has to make the decision to either the kill the traitor that destroyed the Colonial Assassins or to spare the man that saved thousands of innocent lives and set the Assassins back on the right path (by sparing Achilles).
