AC Valhalla having ISU language could be just beginning, and we will see it more in their future games because they focus ISU story now more than just piece of eden
I wouldn't be too sure, if anything, with the upcoming Animus/Infinity phase the series is going in, we're going to receive less focus on things like Modern Day and Isu Era stuff...
To hear the temple theme from ac3was to relive that moment when I first heard it, pure joy and curiosity. Im satisfied of what they have showed us...for now lol
For me this was the best of all the post-launch content in Valhalla, it exceeded all my expectations (lowered by other free and paid dlcs). It was all fantastic - the AC3 music from Grand Temple, the pure Isu aesthetic with zero Norse/mythological nonsense (apart from that awful Valkyrie armor still being a canon Isu armor, ugh), the sword of Eden from Unity getting an interesting backstory (echoing Valhalla's main story connecting to various AC games). And most importantly - it made me feel like I was Desmond or Ezio again, exploring Isu vaults in AC2, Brotherhood or AC3. What an amazing finale to a good, satisfying dlc.
I think why Hildr the Valkyrie had that armor on was cuz of the mythological veil an Eivor recognizing her in her form that she saw in the context of Norse mythology

In this activity we can see a Station to which Hildr, the Valkyrie was assigned to... Anyways, looking forward more Isu lore. I started playing Valhalla because of the Kassandra crossover, but after seeing all the connections they've made with Egyptian/Muspell, Greek/Jotnar, Nordic/Aesir, Vanir, Dark Elves, Underworld mythologies, man I'm really curious about the other "Realms" they still have to introduce. I suspect the "Light Elves" will be "Asian" Isu (Codename Red and Jade).
Option 3: this could easily be a separate dialect of the Isu language. If it was meant to be a global language like English today, then it's inevitable that different dialects will form
Especially here in Valhalla with us learning of the 3 way war the isu the norse myths are based on it could make sense, the others have their own slight variations on the isu language depending on region the rings of eden facility could be from any isu group we just don't know which
I personally think that this could’ve been mimirs well or somehow the isu site the (Eden ring station) connects to the Yggdrasil and the grand temple As those temples are also defense mechanisms, and another cool thing the sword of Eden is called the blazing sword and in the Bible there is also a blazing sword kind of cool to get more historical context for isu Artifacts

If it was Memory Search, "memory" should go in its genitive case (Search of the memory) and as such it should sound like: smṛmṇàs zràw Sary

Definitely Mimir's Well haha had that theory months ago so the mythology maps are definitely not to scale😂😂. Probably the best batch of free content this year although I hope we get a patch for the database since they didn't add anything this time. I will say this is probably set just after the Hamtunscire arc
Honestly though the mythology maps not being to scale kind of makes sense I mean I’ve always kind of assumed that the first civilization was based on the supercontinent of Pangaea and these games kind of further confirm that especially the mythological stuff in this game I mean it makes sense on how Oden has issue temples and prisons on the continent of England and also was able to fight the Irish mythological creature known as Balor because in Pangea the land of Ireland England and Norway were connected
@@Ghost_-nz5dy The Isu dies out around 75,000 years ago so I don't think Pangea still existed, I think instead there were probably more land bridges and glaciers which they could travel over. We know Hermes(Mercury) could create faster travel so that would make sense and that all the temples that were connected to the grand temple were all over the globe but just sent all their energy to Minerva and the other in Turin. The Jotunheim map was probably parts of North America, Ireland and the UK all blended together.
first i tough this is mimir, but if he is an a.i. that means that probably every temple or laboratory of the isu had an a.i. so he may not be mimir but a copy of, or a machine like mimir. i dont know what place this could be, but my guess is its one of the towers built to stop the catastrophe, he said it was a defence, he just never specified it was planetary defence or that the energy was suposed to be used to generate a shield.

The "author" established that hildr was the one responsible for the rings? I have tô read again her history tô see If It have some conection with the shut down of this method and her treason. Hey Patryk! We already know the word for sword which should be: ṇsæs while the word in the sentence is a verbal noun for "hàs" which is "to belong". About the people, yeah I agree, it probably refers to them but we have no way to give them a name at the moment if not by guessing. -Sary
I really like the interpretation but from a grammatical point of view "corrupted" would work as an adjective for memory and as such, from what we have learned in the past, it should be in front of the word memory: "zràw smṛmṇ". Even if we wanted to consider "zràw" as for example corruption, from a grammar point of view "memory" should be declensed in its genitive case (Corruption of the memory) and as such it should sound something like: "smṛmṇàs zràw". Also, if I'm not mistaken (and I'm pretty sure I'm not, since I went there and stomped all over the place), the Odin Rune that was in Ireland is no longer there as of this update (maybe before? I have the photo I took of it in gold on my map, but there's nothing there, even with Synin's sight). Is there a reason for that that I missed (my guess was they didn't want to lock this content behind a DLC), or is it just a mystery? Also, also: my opal map is broken in Ireland, as it shows all the markers, and they're there and I can collect them, but they don't show up in my inventory, since I already collected them the first time I did Ireland.
Yes, absolutely possible. We have seen an older version of the language both in the Stonehenge files and the Canterbury one so that's absolutely something that can happen. The problem I had here was that what I presumed to be the grammatical cases (i'll make an example of this when answering your comment about zràw) and also verbal forms were very different from anything we have ever seen up until now. I'm ok with seeing the language changes in time but we need rosetta stones to figure that out otherwise we can just guess. -Sary
Could "Nrchdrm" be the Isu word for humans or the human servants? Because they made humans as tools (for x reason), not "meant" to be more and here is this AI not knowing of the fate of the Isu, reacting to Eivor as an instrument or another tool, in the same way it/he refers to the Sword of Eden.
Hey B A, Maybe it is a question of mutations yes, but even if they were mutation, they would be some pretty heavy ones compared to the words we know. I don't think it could be present continuous because we already have an example of it in the Saga Stone text: "The flare is reaching --> Ḷ sorhwḷàs vras chnàkôdi de". The continuous form appears to go with the verb in its present or past tense followed by "de". Sary
Just started playing Valhalla on PC, and update 6.1 comes around, and I'm ready to add some mods to make the hood stay on in combat. Then apparently the update breaks mods. Why is hood on in combat not a fucking feature in Valhalla?

Also, I'm glad that my meager scholarship on the translation PDF brought me to the same conclusion. "Key", but spelled wrong according to that, or at least translated wrong, or maybe the subtitles had a different translator. :D
