@@baileymurray651 you may notice that red shrooms refill the adrenaline bar, a direct reference to a "magical potion" berserkers used. Which was in reality a powerful shroom based brew.
Yes, my Eivor is able to reef Odin’s spear out of a wall, can pull the Excalibur out of the stone, is worthy and can carry the Mjölnir and can use abilities to pick up and push big enemies and pin them against the wall... But he can’t even open a door without someone helping him.
I couldn't find a flammable jar to break a wall in a monastery. Kept searching for at least 10 minutes while this song kept playing. Didn't mind it at all
@@nooooplease7060 Not really. I just took a meme and gave that line Dag. He does however say when you first arrive in England that a Hammer is a better symbol for an God than a Cross, so he pretty much would say what I wrote here.
@@rosebounty yeah i noticed that too the other day. I lowered the other sounds and turned Windows volume up instead. So now i got lower dialogue and sfx sounds and louder music.
Music starts: Guards: Keep shouting lame insults and menaces while calling you idiot and getting beheaded soon after. Companions: Break random stuff around and light on fire everything because they feel like to do it. Priests and NPCs: scream in pure madness repeating gibberish latin like "Fundia!" all the time. Eivor: roams around like an idiot waiting for some raider to actually come help him for the chest he started raid for in first instance... Me: "This will never get old."
Actually: Anglo-Saxon Guards: Surprised by a Viking raiding crew, then turn hostile and defend their homes Priests and Civilians: Praying for help from the Lord Zealot arriving: Helps the wrong people Vikings: Open doors, looting chests, kill guards and innocents, putting fires everywhere and I cannot climb Eivor: Sees a bugged raider and says: 'WHAT THE HAMMER OF THOR IS HAPPENING?' Me: ''What the Tank?''
Yknow I hope in the future of ac Valhalla you get to have bigger raids or you can start taking fortresses like you see during the story. Especially by sea. Loved that one mission where you and other Vikings take a fortress by coming from the sea. Now that was the best highlight for me when I played.
Yeah, CDPR tried pretty hard with Cyberpunk and it is a good game in its own right but it just can't keep me hooked like Valhalla could. Probably a combo of the world and music tbh.
@@j.vinton4039 They have been pretty consistent so far. Biggest issue for me was a main quest not triggering at the end of the game. Got it to work eventually though.
@@riac4294 Cyberpunk is so much better than Valhalla. People shat of Cyberpunk for being buggy, but goddamn does Valhalla run so much worse even while being graphically inferior. Also, Cyberpunk as one of the best story I've ever seen. I'm playing Valhalla right now, it's a mess of memory leaks, massive frame drops, but at least the fighting is good.
Just awesome! Thank you! I'm 27h into the game and enjoying it. After watching the TV series, when you start the raid in the game, the feeling with this music is unique!
wow sounds very intimidating, already can imagine thousands of vikings raiding Anglo Saxon settlements, slaughtering every single Saxon. Wow its just amazing.
First time raiding a monastery was sooo epic. Running with your drengir all hollering and the saxon peasants screaming and fleeing while the church bell tolls. Then you slay your way through saxon soldiers. Breaking down doors and stealing all the resources from the crypts. Then setting the thatch huts a blaze and sailing away in the sunset wile flames climb higher. Ahhh beautiful. Real viking shit.
this 3:25 in the middle of a fight gave me god of war vibes when (stone mason) theme plays while atreus traces the sand bowls and says "Þola" to keep the elevator from falling apart
@@ThEWilliam105 It's not necessarily Wardruna, but only because Einar is the only one from the band that is part of Valhalla's soundtrack, if I remember correctly.
before this game came out, i was thinking of alt-tabbing during the game and play some Vikings music from the TV show.. but actually.. this game has far better themes and soundtracks 10/10
