Finally found this track!! Don't know why it's so hard to find but it's finally here! This is by far the best track on the entire game! When that raid begins and you hear this!... Just so awesome!
Other must have been deleted. Anyways, this track right here might be one of the best scores from a video game ever. Especially 01:20 and onwards feels like a mix of saxon and viking themes. Love it
This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard in a videogame. Thanks a lot for upload it! I've been searching it for almost 5 hours and a friend finally sent me this link! I'm sooo in looove with it!
When I raid and this song plays, i kill all enemies, loot 4/5 chests and then watch the burning buildings, smoke everywhere, lighting goes all red and watch the civilians run for their lives
Valhalla may not be the best in the franchise imo I believe Odyssey did it best despite what anyone says but one thing I can give Valhalla the fighting and combat is by far to me the greatest in the franchise especially on the hardest difficulty with a maxed out five hundred plus hour eivor
If you are interested in the original poem, check out Havamal(Words of Havi). It has quite interesting meaning.
I went full nerd and listened carefully, tried to understand one word then checked (CTRL-F) every poetical eddas that match what I understood. I was sure the lyrics are taken from these eddas because Einar Selvik(composer and singer) uses them for all of the old nordic scores. Another example is the song after you talk with king Aelfred( order of the ancients ending) in the game. The lyrics are from the poem Völuspa. Check the OST Ragnarok-Twilight of the gods.
To be honest, it's actually pretty fun. Not a bad game. At least this one didn't make the side quests mandatory, and didn't let you pay money to skip the game you paid 60$ or more for lmao
@@MisterAcker The game was fun yeah, some people complain about it being too long but tbh I couldn't get enough of it, but maybe that's me since I'm a huge fan of the Norse mythology. Everything was perfect at this game other than the dialogue, it feels like I'm listening to 21st century highschool kids talk. Check the Witcher franchise out and listen carefully to the dialogue, I didn't know around 20% of the words that they're using, while in Valhalla everything felt cringe and cheap
Personally it has been my favorite so far, only Assassin's Creed I've actually enjoyed every part of. But I understand, not quite grand vistas or scale, and doesn't have some of the nice things the other Assassin Creeds had. I also love the era and location it takes place in, as well as Norse mythology, so I'm very biased to actually get into the story.
