just finished this dlc with all trophies, I liked it a lot, especially the atmosphere of this decaying Paris with its diseases and sickness and Fat Charles was a great character, very dark storyline.
This was a brilliant dlc! Absolutely loved the dark sickly vibe of the whole thing. The music perfectly suited the tone! Another masterpiece from Assassin’s Creed!
An AC OGS by yet another greek artist. I listened to this on the Deezer yesterday (I just bought the season pass on special which I was awaiting)and some of the awesome ambient exploration music appears to be missing from the tracklist. The same thing happened with the beautiful ambient tomb music missing from the ACO OGS. Thank the Gods for YT. I'm sure someone will make a nice job of uploading the former soon as they did making uploads with the latter a year or two ago. Perhaps I shall do so myself. I've had my greek teacher at my local orthodox church's school where I go to learn greek help me to write the lyrics down to "Odyssey (Greek Version)" which I have been unable to previously find anywhere on the interwebs. This should be up on my channel in a few weeks hopefully, with a translation into EN💙
No Einar Selvik? Bummer... I love his contributions and the ancient instruments he uses. ''The Children of Danu'' was a masterpiece from the previous DLC
This is a struggle I wanna listen to this soundtrack but I don’t wanna spoil it for myself I am currently typing this on mute I am speed running the divine arc and then Ireland then going to Paris
It's very nice but I was expecting something more traditional Frankish and Nordish to be honest. It's a lot of kind of ambient and similar beats and instruments I ve heard in the AC Origins 😕🎶.
@@sly2409 ahmmm... There was some joy and colours even during those times. We shouldn't darken the times just for the shake of plagues. In every era since bc there's a recorded plague. I think Steph got it wrong 😉
I appreciate the work that went into this soundtrack but there really isn't a track that stands out for this DLC. In comparison, Wrath of the Druids had several unique and notable tracks that felt pretty influential. This feels like music for TW3 but without any of the tracks that stand out. Please bring back Einar Selvik for the next soundtrack. He really provided a breath of fresh air to the series similar to what Jesper Kyd did for the Ezio Trilogy. Overall, DLC feels like a 7/10. Music could've been better but Eivor's character progression (story) and landscape of Francia stood out well.
