I met Jimi when I was 14 years old. I spoke to him the day he flew back to the UK. I miss him so much. We were friends for about 4 1/2 beautiful years.

Hendrix was murdered by his manager Michael Jeffery`s. Jimi`s girlfriend only wanted the fame from the story of Jimi`s death trying to be the one who told the story and covered up her part in the murder. Very Sad !!! As far as I know the coroner left an "open verdict" The doctor who tried to save him said there were signs one could conclude wine was forced upon him but would not confirm this for 100%, however the coroner found almost no alcohol in his blood (at least not enough for those days to fail the level to be allowed to drive a car) So there is no ultimate proof for both your theories.

i don't know how many people would have to be involved, i don't know about tappy and i was never a huge jimi fan, but i can see many problems with the official story. i can see why he would be eliminated. A black man in the sixties playing wild music to newly open-minded generation of youth, encouraging them to expand their mind, shun the management and practice peace would definitely be seen as a threat and therefore a target. i see it as very possible and quite likely that he was murdered.

The bastards didn’t realize that by trying to squeeze every dollar and pound possible out of Jimi they were killing the goose that laid the golden egg. It was James "Tappy" White (ex rock roadie who did a bit of road work for Hendrix) who first came up with the concept that Hendrix was murdered by having wine forced down his throat! Why did he come out with this theory - well he had a new book publishished and needed a USP to sell it and the idea that Hendrix was murdered was just to sell his book. It is possible it was just an accident.

The idea that he was murdered by wine is supported by the investigation by the Scotland yard, and was also the description of the crime scene by the medics .
