It"s garbage and lacks any realy thought on how to make a character move set feel natural to the player like say how FromSoft did with their games, mostly naiing it.

just knock a few teeths out while she's drinking it'll compensate. Another tip : drag Eoforwine in Grantebridge, for Soma's soldiers will join you and as soon as they strike her she'll focus them, there's your window. Don't judge me I'm playing on the hardest difficulty what a nightmare lel

Dodge to the side and back in, daggers are extremely effective for fast attacks, I take out pikeman and other heavies without taking a hit most times

@@Andy1SH bro,they can already heal themselves for some reason,throw poison Bombs,throw explosives,Have a big ass shield you cant break or do anything about,can counter any of your attacks with ease because all they do is hide because the shield They do high damage which is to be expected but the problem is that if you manage to attack THEM they instantly counter it with a stun which leaves you unable to do anything while they heal with almost no repercussions “B-b-but it’s a boss fight they’re supposed to be hard” well yeah but at some point it becomes bullshit

If I may add, get the roll over dodge skill. Any red runes on top of their heads open them up for backstabbing. Or in my case back hammering. Works especially well on those giant shield ones.

Dual dagger and kick of tyr ability is all you need to easy kill almost any boss in valhalla including all dlcs. You do the kick of tyr and stomp on them. As soon as you stomp start slashing them with daggers and they wont be able to get up. Do not use the heavy attack. The “stomp” prompt will come up again while you are slashing them on ground. Stomp again and start slashing immediately again. After you get in a few slashes they will stand up. Do the kick of tyr again as soon as they stand up and do the whole process again. Do this about 3-4 times and almost any boss and all zealots will die even in very hard mode. You wont take a single hit.

For those of you playing on very hard: Master your dodging skills, use a heavy weapon such as a speer or a heavy axe. Stay in close combat so you can cancel her heal after one nip or cancel her poison bombs. Took me about 10 times at LEAST. Power: 63- can be done even with lower power i think as long as you master the fight but its hard. Stay closefight, use heavy weapon and weak points, start of with the bow with a couple of headshots. Good luck!

Found that shooting a sleep arrow gives ability to kill her as well. Takes her health down and if you can manage quick enough you can get her with 4 sleep arrows to destroy her health real quick allowing the finishing blow.

Not sure if the Zealots scale with you but I found Eorforwine last (at around 370) and she was nearly impossible to kill! The only way I managed to pull it off was get near a river and call for the longship. Your allies will pelt her with arrows while you spam the Missile Reversal ability. Even with that, she drinks potions and restores a good deal of health. So you have to be able to disrupt that with fast light bow attacks. I was using two daggers and I couldn't get the L1 multi-hand combo to work, so maybe they did patch it. I just had to keep dodging in, getting a couple hits, and dodging back out while repeating the other steps. She was way OP compared to all the other zealots.

you can actually cheese them by getting on the longship and finding a angle where they will only hit the boat when targeting you and then just shoot from a far on your boat, very time consuming at low levels but if your leveled up and have a good bow it doesnt take super long

did her at lvl 45 u just gotta try to always dodge right before the attack so u can trigger brush with death then attack few times and repeat also use the Rage of Helheim skill so basically dodging is all i did and this method was useful for every zealot so far update: it worked for every single zealot even on hardest difficulty

@@rayquinlan40 I tried that and she didn't follow. Just threw javelins. But I did find a new tactic that might be useful. If you equip two dane axes after getting the heavy dual-wield skill and then hold the left button, you do like this continuous spinning attack that rips through shields.

When you have missions where you can bring people with you, I have them do most of the damage to the zealots xD - I get some hits while they are distracted. Basim and Sigurd helped a lot while fighting Horsa.

They have to be somewhat in the same region can’t take them across the map really just get the duel daggers and the skill that slows time after a dodge and you can beat anyone after learning there hit pattern

Just went through this fight at lvl 52. Found out a easy way to beat her. If u just wait to do the story mission the scattered army and sent their location at the big castle across the water from her land. U can kite her back to the army and they will gang up on her with u and its almost impossible for her to focus all her attacks on u bc everytime she trys to go after u your army will just hit her in the back and make her focus them... fyi you will loose some of your army but totally worth doing when you're 40lvl below her lol

I’m about a 60-80 power level right now “can’t remember cuz im at work” but I’ve already acquired all the tablets needed for Excalibur, in my opinion wrothgar was the hardest zealot but your wolf companion ability with a stomp to the face refills your adrenaline and you can continue to use it until he’s dead.

What helped me was getting the send back skill and her javelin does a lot of damage. So stay back wait for her to throw it send it back and when she heals up spam her with arrows. You can also send her poison vials back but they don't hurt as much.

Thanks so much for the advice. Killed her second try after remembering to use the rapid attack. Also it helps to use the explosive arrow as your first attack. Knocks her from the horse and u can get a few free shots in.

I bugged the game with the level 90 zealot. I’m level 40 very underlevlled but mid fight we stumbled across main story characters with dialogue. They was attacking him, doing damage and distracting him for me to do extra damage with backstabs. It was extremely cheesy but it worked!

I just walk them to a cliff or blow them up with a bigger oil vase , it can take some time depending where you encounter the zealot but the tougher zealots are close to said cliffs and oil vases

Hi, Thanks for your video. So I took this zealot boss down while on power level 41 using a cheese strategy that I stumbled on through sheer luck. Not sure if this is a bug or not but here goes: on the path that she takes on that island there comes a point with a little hut. Outside this hut are a bunch of fire pots. I lured her there and ignited her by bursting one of these pots using arrows. Now while on fire she seems to be continuously staggered and obviously taking in fire damage. Here comes the glitchy part: while on fire I kept peppering her with my arrows and each arrow basically kept refreshing her burn duration, essentially perma-stunning and perma-burnung her. She literally died within a minute. I thought it was a glitch so I reverted my save and tried again. Same result, dead within a minute. Both attempts were made on Drengr difficulty. Hope this helps someone who has been struggling with this boss like I was. Happy gaming 😊

Call your longboat over and lure her to the shoreline as close as possible. The arrows your crew fire at her will only do a little damage, but at times she will forget about you and throw her javelins at your crew instead, which will allow you to fire some charged shots (if you have that skill) or use Focus of the Nornir ability and slow time while you're pelting her with arrows on her weak spots.

If you have a very low power skill level, literally shoot the knee and back of the zealot (hit the yellow highlighted part) and you should be able to fight them muh easier. I did it with a 38 power and I used that big Bone-Biter Axe with a speed of 35.

One thing I'd add to this guide. Dodge the bombs she throws before drinking the health potion and just about when she throws the third bomb press the Valkyrie dive on her and you can interrupt the regeneration.

I just finally killed her in the cheapest way possible 😂😂 I lured her next to a lake and Harpoon'd her into it. Turns out that wearing all that heavy armor doesn't protect you from drowning 😂 I did try the Dive/Axe Flurry combo but I was still getting wrecked at 107 Power.

I usually just lead them to the river and try to get them into it because they can’t fight while swimming, whereas you can. Either that or swim to the other side and just missile reversal them until their dead.. time consuming, but effective. Hope this helps anyone who’s starting their zealot hunt, good luck!

I ran across my first zealot when I was at Level 52 and he was one of the 340 ones. I had just materialized on a synch point (a wooden tower) as he was passing by and, for some reason, I decided to shoot an arrow at him. He got off his horse and ran over to shoot arrows at me. I dodged them by going around and around the tower until he got bored and started back to his horse. Then I shot him again. Repeat. Repeat. It took about five minutes, and 12-15 arrows but I killed him. Totally shocked. I'm now at Level 64 and have done this five times with absolutely no damage. I just took out Redwalda by standing on the Roman ruins and... same result. It's lame but if you're a coward, like me, gets the job done. Cheers.

cudberct zealot uses poison. Use poison runes (not on all your equipment). How I beaten Cudberct is I kept my distance and he throws a projectile. I used the missile reversal and shotted back. Still I shot bows at him and fight him closely. He's not that hard to beat.

I just use the big axe. Block their attack, 1 heavy 1light and immediately dodge because most of them then do a red attack. If timed right this will slow down time and you can do the same again. When they are really low and they keep regenerating health you may want to stun them for an easy kill

Okay so, first you need to get the zealots to an area where there are no other guards or stuff that interrupts your fight with the zealot, once you get the zealot in a area where no one can disturb you, you need to equip torch and throw it on him, just throw torches on him until he dies, your torches are inf and spamable so yeah.

For those of you who are playing in very hard like me this video might not help like one heavy hit of that enemy in Very hard mode takes almost all of your life and it just took a fraction of this guys life obviously he is in easy mode.

So yeah, in my game the leap doesn't stun them long enough as well. So the leap is just for you to refresh your stamina. To start the combo dodge one attack with "Brush with death" or "Counter-roll" skills. On enemies without an heavy shield it's even easier. The leap knocks them back and down, you use "Stomp" ability to gain ground then do your combo. I fully expect this to get nerfed pretty soon, but until then enjoy !

My guy doesn’t do the cool confirm kill assassination anymore for some reason. It’s like it glitched out at some point and now every time I go to confirm kill my guy just pulls his axe out and touches the enemy. LITERALLY just touches them ever so slightly lol doesn’t even use the sharp end!

Pull him down to wather,and then enter your long ship and take command and shoot arrows from there .you have 999 arrows + crew help and you can shoot extrem fast,take 1min and he is dead.

I know he says “we need speed” but duel Dane axes work really well and you can get almost twice as much damage in as you usually would. You’re still gonna get a full combo in if they don’t have a shield.

There is a small church between Wyeham and Medeshamtone Abbey with a fire bottle outside it. Wait for her to go past and throw it at her horses feet. Fire arrows at her and make sure not to let her get rid of the flames and don’t get too close to her (if you get too close she ignores the fact she’s on fire, attacks you and the flames go out). Took me about 6 tries but when I did it she didn’t even take a single bit of my health off. I’m currently level 53.

Off topic here but the artifacts like the floating pages, Roman masks, and cursed objects stopped showing up on the map. I have every sync point done, I bought every map from the cartographer, yet they dont show up unless I'm within a hundred meters or so of said artifacts, am I alone in this?

Just get the raven perk called ''Missile reversal''. You can easily avoid zealots by standing far of them, when they throw a lance to you ( or anything else ), just use this perk ( L1 when lance is about to hit you ). Their lance can do a lot of damage to them. I killed first zealot ( power 90 ) when my power was 40, with this perk.

try blowing them up , I took out half of Beorhtsige (level 280) . the Synchronize spot that he passes by has jars that explode. place a few on the road . then i used poisonous powder trap with Miasma

Using a dagger with harpoon is really too simple. Full stamina instantly and always regen 1 full bar. Rinse and repeat

Ok, this is gonna blow your fucking mind. I thought this video would be about what I'm about to mention, but apparently you're actually fighting these guys. All you have to do is lure them to water, and use a sleep arrow. Instant death.

seems like this doesnt quite work now? (maybe a patch) but what I did realize is you REALLY need the skill called brush with death, which is part of the raven (yellow) path. Simply perfect dodge the attacks and then get a quick combo in while the time is slow-mo. Tried so many times to fight one of the zealots without this method and I beat them first try after getting that skill from the skill tree! Good luck

if you mean the jump and hit thing it's the melle skill "Dive of the Valkyries" (probably lvl 2) for the barrage of hits that comes after, you need two one-hand axe and maintain the "L1" button

I'm at level 76 and I have like 4 weapons. How on earth did you find that many weapons? Did you buy them?

Is this patched or does this tactic specifically just deal w this zealot? Im near the same lvl although no slow mo dodge yet and im against a zealot using double swords i can kinda do this but my stamina drains super quick and she always breaks it or catches me w them huge swords which i can't dodge after doing this but when i do its kinda a coin flip if i have the dive built back up. Just looking for tips and tricks really im like 60 rated running brigadine armour set with spinning death and that mythical poison shield but do have basically the weapon he has otherwise and my flail is still max bronze. Really struggle to find the titanium or whatever to upgrade my stuff into silver. (funnily enough did have 3 gold ignots to get the shield upgraded though lol). Edit: Also im playing on very hard if thats of any use for tactics sake.

I think it was her or another zealot, don't remember, but they glitched and didn't put up a fight. They stood there while I killed them.

Currently playing the game on very hard because I hate my life obviously. Here are a few humble combat tips: stronger enemies are harder to stun after a parry. A good rule of thumb is to expect them to finish their combo despite you landing a sweet block. I’ve had consistent luck with dodging almost towards/past them after I block or just without even blocking. If u have a spear u can jab, dodge, jab, dodge infinitely since it’s so fast. Fury axe throw is also carrying me through a ton of fights where I’m outnumbered. Also, most melee adrenaline abilities refill your stamina.

Easiest way is to kick him from horse and he stuck in one place then just use bow. :D

The valkyrie dive & then L1/LB attack combo does not work for me at all. After the jump Eivor just stands there & literally does NOTHING. I've tried changing controllers & rebooting the game with no luck. SO frustrating 🤬

So I killed all three zealots that were said to have the stone tablets, only one dropped, I need 3 more tablets and have gone to each location several times and made sure I haven’t missed any... the three tablets I need are nowhere to be found in the game and I have already killed all the zealots... any help would be greatly appreciated...

I killed on at level 32. I made her chase me to the river and I got on the long boat and launched a bunch of arrows with my crew. Really worked well since you have unlimited arrows when your in control of the long boat.

2× 340 FLAWLESS KILLS! DETAILED: SW of Readingum Abbey on the North of Hamtunscire. Used Harpoon, skill, and luck. I have the other skills, in vid/comments, which worked great for insanely tough "normal" zealots. Tried technique on 340 and he never downed. Got him to follow to lake East of Stonehenge. He of course doesn't drown like other say and has great aim for you swimming. There is a rock at cliff base. When I speared Saxon Widower off he lived but on that rock just a hair under water they can't climb up. If you use the harpoon technique and chunk over cliff or however into water. Get on rock, just under water at middle cliff base, and pummel away. 2 massive victories for 1/3 their power. Ale poisoning Widower didn't move and I just thrashed until dead. It was luck it happened because the falls were no damage. Gave me idea to take Zealot there. Bertchum was swimming like he would climb up main cliff if he could but I pummeled until dead. Tried to swap to dual wield but couldn't in middle of hitting. Didn't take chance and he died before reaching higher cliff. If he had made it up I had filled my adrenaline back up so would've tossed right off again. Hope this helps people. Take advantage of what you can and plan ahead if you look to attempt things passed your power. All raids done 1st thing with stealth and boss kill stat/skill up. Good luck and have fun.

Yep. Just found that out against Redwalda, who had been kicking my ass ever since I got to England. It sends their spears and bombs right back at them.

yeah if they're throwing javelins, you knock them down and sprint towards them and spam the R3 button to stomp on them. Pretty effective. It works on bombs too, yes. I don't know if arrows knocks them down though

So I'm currently on the 2 ax kick, but with the Housecarl and Varin , one has increased speed up to 10 hits and the other one is increases attack up to 10 hits. So they kind of pair very well together.

Getting to the right level is a start. Then just sit at a distance on a horse & hit the weak points with a bow. That's what I do. Works every time.

If you play on very easy then its a walk in the park but if you fight zealots on hardest difficulty it get's tricky on easy you dont need anything to defeat them its really a 2 min fight.
