This dish is basically a dish 500 that gets 110 and 119 here in the US. If you took it to the us with a dish receiver hooked up to it, you could probably get a dish signal with a bell satellite.
I replaced the nuts on the skew and elevation with wing nuts, it holds well and is easy to set as you move around. Also nail polish every 10 or 5 degree marks, much better to see. I can usually get better than 85% on the first try. The receiver does it all on its own after I use analog signal finder. Takes about 5-10 minutes on a tripod to get it going.
Very nice video. I do a lot of RV'ing, and you will have problems in the future with trees. What I've done is to use a tripod and 100 feet of RG6 cable. At any campsite, I can install the dish anywhere on the ground, within 100 feet of the RV, and guarantee myself a signal about 90% of the time. I see many Class A Motorhomes with roof-mounted dishes have issues with TV because of surrounding trees. A mobile satellite dish on a tripod is the way to go, unless your trailer is going to be parked permanently at a trailer park. Have fun RV'ing!
That's great squaring and levelling it all in your driveway, but if that is an RV what will happen when you move? Was the RV level in your driveway? Will it be level and parked at the perfect angle when camping?
Great video thank you. Just one question. On my dish it has 3 places to connect coax cable. Port 1 and 2 and another one LNB IN. What one do I hook up too?
