Awesome stuff. Todd ! What a legend! Bus driver, Engine builder, tour guide, All round good bloke. Looking forward to watching you guys race this weekend. Thanks for sharing 🙃🙃👍👍
im just watching again just to support the team... seriously what other team owner is assembling there engine's. Wouldn't care if it was rear of the field just great skills needed to get that far.. all the best this weekend
For you guys to take the time to show your fans all the behind the scenes stuff is testament to you and all involved. Not too many teams have time for their fans.. thanks doesn’t seem enough.....
It used to be about the marquee for me, however , Todd you have brought me to supporting a Team irrespective of marquee. Appreciate your ability to lead and by example. Wish you well for the future racing, I will be on the sideline cheering😊
I'll sencond this and I couldn't have said it better my self! Good luck with the weekend and thanks for the insight into the team and posting the videos of the journey.
Absolutely, I certainly agree with you regarding the marquee statement. I have always been a Holden fan, though Kelly Racing is my new favorite team. Absolutely awesome seeing Todd on the tools and his ability to use old school techniques. Having the ability to adapt to the conditions is becoming lost in this day and age.
Really good entertaining stuff, very enjoyable watching this, I am now following your team closely with the mustangs. Thanks for the effort making the videos.
Keep the content coming! Love the old school approach of looking and seeing / hearing where there is an issue in the cars! Not a big team, but a family built team! Keep it up!
Thank you Todd we have absolutely loved your vids . Being in the UK we love the V8's and will visit again and hopefully get to a race meeting. Take care thanks alot again....Roy & Cheryl. (UK)
Kelly Racing IMO is the essence of V8 Supercars. Keep up the awesome content and looking forward to watching you guys impress on the track. #Neds #Castrol
Great job boys 👍🏻 I’m guessing whoever did valve replacement did an excellent job as normally once a guide has been messed with (in this replaced) the seats at a minimum with need some attention (seats cut) to get the valve contacting the seat and being concentric. Maybe the head guy gave them a hit with a stone? Anyway, good luck and hope you go well👍🏻
Best of luck to you boys this weekend. It’s great to see how you’ve developed the car in such a small window of time and pulled off some great results for your effort. Keep up the great work we’re all rooting for you 👍🏻
Mr Kelly , I love my henry's . On upset multi blades carb or throttle bodies, my rapid intervention is to pull out the feller guages and check or reset the blade to body clearance to match all the others for balanced airflow in 2 mins or less .
Well done Kelly Racing! I have loved watching your videos and following your road trip adventures. Your massive effort from leaving Victoria in record time to arriving in Darwin is absolutely massive. What you have achieved as a team is highly commendable and you should all be very proud. I have always been a Holden fan, though I will be following your team closely and I wish you all, every success and the best of luck in Darwin and for the rest of the season. Awesome videos and a great insight into a real raceteam, well done and I look forward to more videos. Cheers Jordan
I must admit, Kelly Racing was my least favourite team, but what you guys have achieved with the mustangs and all this covid crap is nothing short of incredible, and the video's I'm absolutely loving, your definitely up the top two or three now, great work guys, hope you have a great round in Darwin.
Check my camshaft profile design that Dean Tighe from Ivan Tighe camshafts in South Brisbane ,and the grind got labelled Cleveland solid#764 ,works great with reversed piston location with notches backwards.
Cool team trip 👍 One thing i dont understand is nearly 30 years ago the modern engines aka twin overhead cams were cut. Today your using a pushrod engine but the mustang is sold with a modern ford engine. Do the rules prohibit more modern engines? Liked the video and build.
Hey Mr Kelly .... love your RU-vid channel ... Keeps it up .. :-) ..... got a question about This Mustang thing , is it a better race car all around than the Nissan and Holden were? .... Now i thinks you would have a good inside knowledge of this as you blokes have raced all three cars now ...... it just looks to me that the Mustang is able to apply its power out of the corner a lot more early then the Holdens can and they point and steer better though the corners .... Is this the case for Rick and Andre ? are they able to get more out the car in the corners ? Does it feel better for them ? Now as Mike would say ... ' BackToWork ' ... :-) ... F .... irst O .... n R .... ace D ... ay
Try fitting cylinders 1,2,3&4 piston and rod assembly's to cylinders5,6,7&8 , then fitting cyls 5,6,7&8 reciprocating gear to cylinders 1,2,3&4. Then check where the crank throws true TDC is and then fit degree wheel set to crank throw TDC then back up the crank and see how early the piston dwells BTDC , instead of after
