I’m another binge watcher. So grateful for your teaching. I must ask you to consider sharing those little quotes you put on your journal so we can enjoy them too. Again, thank you for sharing your talent with us. I’m sure I am one of so many who appreciate you. Respectfully, Mary Dray

New subscriber here--delighted to have found you. Your tutorials are so detailed and explained so well. I feel as if I'm improving my skills while I enjoy watching. I'm new to the hobby and you've helped me to decide on the style of JJ I like best. I'm working on my second JJ at the moment, and made one of the writing boards you showed us in another video to make writing in the journal easier. It's a terrific idea and I plan to make one for each of my JJs from now on.

I've quite thoroughly enjoyed this series of videos. Need to say yours is one of the best, definitely not agitating as so many others I've 'tried' to get through. Thank you for your patience in teaching me(keeping my wandering attention)as a total beginner where to start :) I saved these as well as your pocket fold book so i can go back and make my own. A grateful beginner! Joy

I love how organized you are in planning this and staying organized. Also great at balancing the “junk” aspect of a junk journal. As for me, I just start grabbing things and putting them together to make a so called junk journal 😂

May I be so bold as to add that when sewing in the signature the two threads should sit either side of the centre long stitch and then tied otherwise the knot will pull through.

I am inspired and confident to try a junk journal! I did not hear how many pages was in the book. Can you tell me? Thank you!
@AtticLane
@AtticLane 6 лет назад
Hooray! I'm really pleased to hear that :) From memory it was 12 full pages sewn in the centre. Because it's a single signature any more than that would place too much strain on the stitching. xx

Hi - I tend to write my journalling notes on little tags and mini books scattered throughout the journal that way it's private and tucked out of the way and I can use the pages for ephemera and photos :) xx
