I have quickly yet only just recently become such a fan of your channel. You have such a calm peaceful way. Your teaching methods and your junk journal style quite fit my own. Enjoy having tea with you daily...and on a dreary Sunday afternoon I find myself binge watching your channel. Lovely escape from the chaos our world is going through. Prayers you are safe and settling in across the pond. Look forward to sneak peaks of the beautiful country you now call home. Happy day from my own small quiet rural american plot amongst the fields...
You are a true junk journalist, using junk and bits n pieces, as I haven’t got many things, I have to use broken jewellery so what a good idea with the paper beads xxx
I don’t journal, but am loving the creativity that you ladies put into these books. You are my 3rd subscription today. Really enjoyed your tutorial. Tfs cheers
Thank you so much. I have wanted to learn how to make one of these tassels. And your paper beads are different from others I've seen and I love them. The tissue paper added on is beautiful!
I'm just finding you. I love your ideas...more so because they are made and not purchased off of a shelf. Thank you. I will continue to watch you and go back to watch your other videos.
I've watched this video again and you have given me a wonderful idea with words...i have lived all around the world growing up..i purchased an old atlas and cut out the names of the countries I have lived in and visited...im making these beads...wirh the name of the name of the country at the end of the role....thank you for the idea and making my journal special.
I only found your channel a couple of days ago from someone else’s video, not sure who. After watching your tutorial on hidden paper clips I was hooked and subscribed straight away. I love what you do, thanks so much for sharing your ideas.
Love your videos! Thank you! Just wanted to add that I know of people who have serious food allergies and even the dust from the cereal bag would cause serious reactions...if people are giving or selling these to others it could harm them and they'd not know how it happened...there are so many people nowadays with these food allergies. Thank you again!
C Herman I use these cereal bags but before use I give them a rinse out with warm water and let them dry naturally. I’m asthmatic but this does not cause me any problems, I hope this helps 😀
Simply beautiful. Your voice is very angelic. You take me back in time... like Anne of Green Gables... thank you for sharing your creativity with the making of your junk journal. I love all the natural elements and details. Thank you again
I remember making paper beads like that at Primary School (back in the 60s!) I'm really enjoying this series, you have inspired me to have a go myself - I'm thinking Family Christmas Presents! A great answer to the question 'What do you give to the sister who already has everything she needs???' Thank you! X
Hi Maggie - great idea for gifts! It's what my friends have been given for years, I never thought anyone would be interested in videos of them until I started sharing and ummm...yeah lol!! xx

I just discovered your channel today and I am enjoying your tutorials. the journal is looking gorgeous. I have been collecting cereal packets to the dismay of family ha ha.
I'm loving your JJ serious I am watching every video right now and enjoying every minute of it loving it thank you for sharing with us it's gorgeous much love my friend Denina ♥️👍 👍
Hi Denina! I'm so pleased to hear you are enjoying your time in the Attic and (to offer advice from another subscriber who spent a whole night binge watching) stay hydrated! :) xx
I just googled it but I think they are suggesting that on the threads of the bottle...mine oozes out when I place the bottle back on the table before I can put the cap back on it has ozzed out all over.
I've heard some good reviews on the 3 & 1 glue. Do you find it ever bubbling over from the tip before returning the top? I have been using Fabric Tac and it seems to ooze out from the top and waste so much. It looks like yours never did that. Again love love your journal.
Yes it does ooze out, someone advised dabbing vaseline on the top but I haven't tried that yet. Overall I like it for thin papers because it doesn't leave a glue bead line :) xx
i loved watching the video and was waiting to see where you added the tassel to your journal and you didn't show that...other than that, great tutorial.
Ahhh I decided not to include the tassel (think I mentioned it in the follow up video? sooo long ago now lol) I found it was just too bulky. If I'd included it, I had planned to add a metal eyelet to the top of the spine and attach it using jump rings. :) xx
