After our collision in the last round of the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux at CM Circuit Zandvoort, we are back in testing with a brand new chassis and transmission, this time on the lively track of TT Circuit Assen.
The car felt great, and even if I didn’t put a lap properly together, 1:39.78 is perfectly acceptable ;)
Also, what better opportunity to try a new helmet camera setup!
This time, I am using my GoPro Hero 10 Black with the new GoPro head strap 2.0 around the helmet. I inverted the camera to get the lens as close as possible to the level of my eyes.
To make the experience even more immersive, the footage is recorded without any image stabilization. If I start getting feedback from viewers becoming sick, I may switch it back on :p
Finaly, I went for a wide field of view, which doesn’t provide the fastest sense of speed, but is closer to my actual perception.
