Assigning Pokemon teams to Genshin Impact characters! (again)

I know having multiple starters woulda been a no-no, but Dehya really gives me Blaziken [and even Emboar] energy - also Kommo-o I feel could totally be her ace!

YES!! The RU-vid algorithm recommended me this video and I LOVE it! Went back to watch the previous video, too. Itto as the Bug type gym leader makes me so pleased. I know you gave its evolution to Mona, but I could absolutely see Itto having Rellor on his team, since it's based on the dung beetle just like the Sumeru Scarab, which he gifted everyone on his birthday in 2023! For some reason, I feel like Itto would really like Shuckle -- I can't explain it, but they just give off the same energy. I have two recommendations: Dark: If only Diluc wasn't already your Fire type gym leader, I would have recommended him here, since he's the Darknight Hero and all. Others have already recommended her, but I also like Rosaria here, since her burst line "Punishment!" is literally a Dark type move and her other burst line "Lights out..." is extremely Dark type coded. (Also, her passive boosts movement speed at night time!) Ground: Probably an unconventional pick, but I love Kaveh here. I think it would be hilarious if his architectural designs were built by his Pokemon. Too bad Conkeldurr isn't a Ground type... Nonetheless, there are a heap of other builder-type Ground Pokemon to choose from! Also, if you told me Mehrak was an unreleased Pokemon I would 100% believe you.

Niiiice. If there's no more fans of this series left in the world, I'm dead. Bug type Itto is perfect. Also I appreciate that you show your gameplay with the character you're talking about. Arlecchino is good for Dark maybe. A lot of people will probably say Hu Tao is Ghost, but it can also be Kadzuha. Xiao fits Poison because of his history and Yoimiya fits Normal.

1. No comment really. No thoughts came to mind 2. Not also giving itto pinsir is a crime 3. I think mona should also have gothitelle in her team, she literally sees the future through stars 4. I feel like wriothesley also should have bisharp, they literally have the same color scheme. 5. I would've prefer alolan ninetales instead of tinkaton. Tinkaton may be a "strong fairy" but it doesn't really fit kokomi's theme. She's more of a strategist than a fighter really

It's also fun to guess which characters could be in the remaining types. - Normal could either be Mika or Amber since as characters they're kinda normal. Or maybe Yunjin since she does music and a lot of sound moves are normal type. -Poison : Baizhu is my immediate thoughts. He study medicine and also has a snake. The poison type leader could be a doctor that aims to get rid of poison and diseases to the world. (tighnari is a similar case) - Ground: for ground Id rather find someone that is not geo for this, which leads me to candace as she is the guardian of aaru village and also a descendant of king deshret. -for ghost theres the obvious Hu Tao. Theres also qiqi who's a zombie. If it was someone not obvious, I'd choose fischl since she fits the color scheme and also acts like a ghost type trainer. -Water: we could be straightforward and add the regina of all waters furina there, but I also thought someone like sigewinne to be an insteresting person behind the water type. A wild pick would be the pirate who conquer the oceans Beidou. Lastly for dark we could choose either kaeya or rosaria. I'd personally choose rosaria because the thought of a nun who is also an assassin is one of the best ideas for a dark type leader

I think Mona should have gothetelle. I forgot how to spell it but I’m pretty sure that pokemon does see future and uses the stars or space or something. But either way I could totally see her use one! Probably instead of musharna

I made a whole Google slideshow with Genshin characters with Pokemon teams. This video reminded me of it. All be it, the last team I put in it is Alhaitham's, and I updated last with Chiori's drip marketing. Anyways, awesome video! I really want Furina to be water-type since she already has Pokemon/summons. Poison is also a tricky one. I could see maybe Kuki because of the ninja motif. Or maybe a dendro character like Tighnari and Collei because they're forest rangers. Maybe Collei is a better fit because of her Elezar, in a morbid way.

I think traveler would be good for normal. I know that’s kinda basic, but then you could give him/her eevee and y’know, both can turn into different elements. Bennet would be really funny tho since he always has bad luck (the opposite of normal) even though hes just some adventurer. Also I really thought solrock was going to be monas ace, but now i’m not even such if solrock is physic. We don’t know much about emilie yet, but she might end up being a good poison type. I have alot of ideas for ghost lol so here we go -Wanderer because everyone forgot him, he’s basically a ghost now -Ei because she was the “shadow” of her sister and now the shogun is her shadow, (this could also work for dark) -Layla. Hear me out, when “other layla” takes over, it’s almost like she’s been possessed by a ghost, and also she hangs out at night alot. Also sleep and dreams are kinda ghosty If you did wanderer or ei pls do phantump. It works because they’re implied to be made of wood. 🙏 (even if you do someone else phantump pls I love phantump🙏🙏🙏) For ground im almost thinking klee?? Like she does blow up the ground, but she also buries stuff in it. I think that her cute little kid look would go well with a lot of the silly looking ground pokemon, and also she’s short so she’s close to the ground. Imagine klee with phanpy. Imagine klee with GARCHOMP.

Dark - Fischl (If you don't want to do 4-stars I feel like Lyney, Xiao or Yelan could work here) Ghost - Hu Tao (or Qiqi if you prefer) Ground - Zhongli feels the most suitable to me but he certainly leans more rock (I wish we had more earthy/sandy characters) Normal - Jean (or Amber/Noelle. I feel like this is more about their agreeable nature than their element or abilities) Poison - Arlecchino (I don't have a great second choice but I could see Yae Miko being a really funny option here. Poison is definitely about playing the long game and she is so good at that.) Water - just fill this spot last with whoever is left. there are so many water pokemon. You'll figure it out.
