First impressions & drive with the new Rexlex 14MT! Got off to a rocky start, but it ended well. This is a longer than normal run. The beginning of the video is the first impressions, the middle to end is the driving impressions.
Really cool looking truck. It's weird that at that price they couldn't have included metal gears, and an unlocked esc with a programming card. When are we going to see a mini e-revo on the channel?
Thanks Jason! No plans for a mini e-revo. If I get another driveway ripper it will be an LC racing truggy. They make a kit version, so maybe a winter project. I kinda want to try your most hated full size Revo 🤣
@@GreatLakesRC I am a huge fan of the Revo. So I was super disappointed when the 2.0 came with that garbage esc, I one day will pick up a 2.0, and swap the esc before the first run. And do a few other things.
@@JasonPerrinRCVlogs I do want a Corally. It's got to be different than what I have though. Another truggy isn't going to hold my interest. That's why I am super curious about what they have in the works. An Asuga would be an option too. Parts support is my biggest worry, but I can get over that 🤣
This thing rips pretty good Aaron, also seems to have decent air control. I too , tend to mess with smaller cars with the kids, just seems easier. Your son's beggar seemed quick also. cool vid
I have the 1;b gamma, pretty much the same vehicle, the speed control needs to be reset and at times the set button can be altered by accident when switching the car on. It took a while to get it squared away for me but once it got dialed in it work great. You can change the settings with the button on the on/off switch. I also took the receiver out and replaced it with a spektrum.
@GreatLakesRC I've tried twice now to send a reply and it's failed😅 So I checked and it seems the MT version is not in Australia yet but the buggy version is still around 350aud or like 230usd. To kinda put it into perspective a wltoys 144 1/14 brushed is as low as 80aud on ebay Australia and it has all metal and alloy parts, and they do like 70kph on 3s Perfect for yard bashing👌
Hello! I have just got my hands on one of these, so am curious if ther are any "must do's" prior to running it hard - eg change to metal shocks, change to metal spur etc. Thanks!
It would be outrageous on 3s 🤣 Plus those plastic gears would not hold up well. I did find out that team associated makes aluminum gears for this car. Kinda destroys the value though.
