The Aston is my go to car in ACC despite how slow it's acceleration is. The turbo lag issue was fixed irl by adding an adjustable anti-lag system but Kunos haven't added it into ACC.
@@magical5181 I don’t think they’re gonna fix it since it’s how the car is in real life, it’s biturbo so turbo lag in it is huge that’s why it accelerates slow.
I really like this car, took me a while to choose a "main" car but since i've been using this i've started bringing down lap times. First car I beat the "Real Record" time at Suzuka as well, thats an accomplishment for me haha
I went to Sebring for gt world challenge and the Aston was the quietest in the field but in person it’s still pretty loud and the exhaust “popping” it makes is not a pop but a very loud bang. Doesn’t sound like much on broadcast but in person it sounds great.
"Fun to Q in, difficult to race if not leading." Are you a hammer? Cuz you totally nailed it. I can qualify at or near the front almost every time, but I don't count on being a hard charger unless it's right up on someone's bumper, then I'm fighting the car like crazy and losing out on corner exit. And the mid corner grip being a double edged sword is something I can drink to every time.
Yessss exactly. I had a race recently at Spa with it where I bottled qualy and started right in the midpack, would always catch the cars in front almost every corner, but I just had no acceleration to actually fight. It's almost like strategy is the only way to pass cars in this :P
I really hate the mid corner feeling of this car. It's like I have to drag it, which is a trait I don't really like Very nice, quality video though, keep it coming!
Yeah thats understandable, I sort of still feel that same way, and I think a lot of it for me comes down to it being a big ol front engine, when I'm used to driving real snappy mid engines :P Thanks!
Great review! I've played in your ACC server loads! I come from the Renssetto Corsa group! I'm in a league stint with the AMR and I'm breaking all my previous lap records with it. It is WEAK at Monza for sure! . I'd love to join in on your server some more!
Ah nice! Glad you like the server :). It just recently got buffed at Monza, slightly reduced and smoother turbo lag, and it can get a mid 47 fairly comfortably. It's at least not as bad hahah
Bentley next please 🙂. Bentley 2018 was a car I wasn't expecting much from. Comfortably beat every time I had at every track with minimal setup changes( pressure, brakes, little bit of roll bar or springs)
Honestly I've been avoiding the Bentley, my USA brain still can't wrap my head around a RHD car LOL. I probably just need to use it for a few days straight to get used to it, cause it does feel like a fairly solid feeling car
@@sacame36 Yeah I felt it was a good car at all tracks but like I said I got along with the default set up alot on that car so could be just that. Either way if you get stuck behind one on hungaroring it can be a pain in the butt trying pass when it blasts down the straight haha
Low diff will make the power goes to the wheel with more pressure on the ground, in a corner is the outer wheel, making the inside wheel pretty much powerless and so making it spin less than the outside one. High diff it will keep the power in both wheels, that is why drift cars must have diff lock ;)
Loved the content subbed. I am going to possibly get a rig and play this game and watch even more videos and guides especially by you. Earned and sub and like!
I started driving this car today at Spa and then boom, I shaved 4 seconds off my normal time at spa in the bentley and amg. Literally aslo butchering the kerbs at monza.
Hey Sacame! Great video, I’ve just subscribed! I’ve also just started using the car on the Ps4 and I like it. The only thing I struggle with is it feels very twitchy just on the exit of corners in 2/3rd gear. Also when I enter slow speed corners it feels like I have no revs (turbo lag) or the back end of the car violently pivots😭😭😭 are there any fixes for this
Thanks! The low revs/turbo lag thing is something I struggle with too, unfortunately that's just something you gotta live with as you can't change gear ratios or anything in ACC. If the back end snaps around on you, it could be a number of things. You might be trying to take too much curb, locking tires, or you might have too much rake. Although, it's pretty hard to have *too much* rake in the Aston
I always found the aston to be a bit snappy out of corners as you need to get on the power early like you say, im going to try those set up tips and see how i get on.
Hopefully it helps! I also find that having TC1 at 1, and TC2 at 8 is a super smoothly applying traction control setting, makes it even easier to get on the power real early
I have a huge love hate relationship with this car. I had writen out a long as comment about what was going on but it was to long. at the end of the day i just cant get the rear to follow the capabilitys of the front. in high speed its not to bad but in things like chicanes or tight turns with direction changes im always having to catch the rear hurting the corner exit speed even more, for exsample. The Bus stop chicane at Spa. I can spend the entire lap catching someone and be right behind them but as soon as we get to the Bus stop i will lose 2-3 seconds because i cant get the rear to stop moving around to get the power down meaing im way to late on the power and lose more time than needed. as for what you said about it being stable all the time i just dont understand how you can get it like that i have been trying with this car since the console release and i still have no idea.
Lower the rear ride height to 70-71 and wing to 3/4. And like they wrote here, rear anti Rol 0 to 2. These issues happen on PS gameplay. Please let me know if Its better
Keeping the rear roll bar pretty soft helps with the braking, corner entry, mid corner oversteer it can have sometimes. From what I've messed with, anyway
😀🥳🥳great video keep it up my friend have fun and good luck stay at home put everything you have in your video hope you will make it big with your channel 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 VNM63
On the interior of the aston theres 2 led strip lights on the left and right side of the dash and they flash occasionally and ive not got a clue what there for anybody know
@@sacame36 im sure its TC, the porsche has little light strips down each side of the digital screen bottom half is for TC top half of the light strip flashed for abs
@@sacame36 Haha true story, I took the Bentley for a spin around Imola and was almost immediately as quick as in AM, then said to myself "not too shabby for right hand drive..." Ever since then, I can't shake the fact that it's right hand drive and I've been rubbish ever since. Finally gave up on it as a AM replacement.
@@sacame36 it would be very nice because less people talk about honda and i like your view about every car because you dont put sympathy, you just talk about the pros and cons straight
Funny you mention that, there was an Aston Martin driver in my stream chat a few days ago and we got to chatting on how realistic the V8 is in game, and apparently those issues you just mentioned are what the real thing suffers from as well. If you're wanting to, try having the rear roll bar real soft to stop it from wandering about. I think I rarely have it above 1 or 2
I find this car undriveable at the bus stop chicane at Spa. If I take this corner as normal as any other car, the rear end will come lose, I've tried many things, softening the rear springs, the slow bump, the arb, nothing, it keeps on coming lose in that chicane. It's weird because the car understeers everywhere else. I also find it very slow around Spa, but then again I have the console version of the game, as I'm sure this video is using the PC version. To sum it up for me; the Aston V8 is a heavy feeling understeering car, which can oversteer dramatically in low speed changes of direction.
