This is true inspirational material for IG players like me. The way you catch the grimdark and twisted atmosphere of the W40k universe thru the eyes of simple, anonymous humans from different forgotten holes of the universe gives the exact vibe it needs. Cheers!

Although an individual Imperial Guardsman can never be the equal of a Space Marine, there are often tens of thousands of men in each regiment. With literally trillions of new recruits tithed to the Astra Militarum each year, their commanders have a functionally infinite amount of manpower to draw upon.

Especially appreciate seeing all the other guard armies, the jungle fighters, desert raiders and iron guard etc. Don't make me pick, they all looked kick arse. And I cannot quantify what it is I find so entertaining about the rattlings. And it got wonderfully disturbing during the bonus material. Seriously who'd be a guards man, please send in the Emperors Angles, that scary crap is what they are for.

Space Marines are Great and all, but I'm Imperial Guard all they way, they make the grim darkness of setting more relatable and accessible in a way that genetical enhanced super soldiers just can not!
