So just like every platinum game you mean lol. Even Bayonetta despite it's near universal praise sold poorly which is why no one wanted to publish the sequel until Nintendo stepped up and just bought the entire IP. Nier: Automata was the exception and sold so well solely because Square Enix were footing the bill, and even then it wasn't a blockbuster. It's the Platinum curse.

I like games like these verses to open world fetch quests that is nothing more than a chore.

@@allaboutsmashing6883 i normally don't advocate a game for GOTY, but conceptually, this game is already fantastic, then you have a gta like world but this time you are actually helping people and you have different types of levels from bike chases to puzzle solving. from the trailers and the treehouse gameplays i have seen, the combat is like a much more refined DMC3 and 4 combat mixed in with the tactical awareness of Dark Souls and the flare of Nier Automata. Ofcourse this game needs to deliver first, but boi does it look like this game is going to deliver hard

I will never understand why people keep seeking validation from that dumpster fire, the game awards are a shameless publicity stunt and the dorito pope is an absolute joke. Not to mention the very obvious western bias, and the fact that it is a transparent popularity contest.
