AstraZeneca undertook a comprehensive evaluation of their use of lab automation and found that they have several needs for improvements to their automation systems. They selected HighRes Biosolutions to work with them to develop automation systems to meet their needs. This partnership has resulted in the development of CoLAB and CoLAB Flex automation. Modular, flexible, as well as being highly productive and interactive, these new automation systems are changing how lab automation is used. Already, AZ is experiencing dramatically increases in system usability, productivity and reliability with these new systems in place.
