About game 3: It is funny that I've built the Dark shrine as a bait (In don't think that I've built a single DT at all) to force out more cannons against Immortals. It also tricked Harstem too. And I wasn't up a base, the 3nd one in the corner didn't had workers because I had to react to constant Void spam. And yeah my opponent do cannon rush every single time. He was really pissed of after he loosed this game. Edit: I watched the segment again. It almost like that Harstem guessed the red player.

Imo Irene and GGG should be in joint 3rd place and Serral 4th (like how it worked in season 2) but I could understand not wanting to go to the trouble of an extra tiebreaker episode. If Astrea wins it'll be fitting for a Protoss to end the Reign of the Swarm.

Harstem was off this episode. His guesses are usually so on point. It's rare my guesses are better but this episode i crushed it by comparison.

18 points today. 2 really good guesses. And two that weren’t. I need to be more consistent. . . . Round 1: S2 (9 points) - Initially, I was going to guess much higher. Red’s APM over 300 and seeing eggs in control groups?!?! But then…the eggs were overlords. And then the amount of minerals being floated. And I’ve spiked over 300 APM and been stuck in Silver. Round 2: S2 (0 points) - I feel like this was a blocked cheese that turned into a snoozefest, with slow production and not much going on. I was about to throw in the towel after the first round, I’m glad I didn’t. Round 3: P1 (2 points) - Unlike the previous game, this was not a snoozefest. There was stuff going on, and the cannon rusher was still active. It’s definitely somewhere between gold and diamond. Astrea’s reaction to this round was my reaction to Round 2. Round 4: G2 (7 points) - I just feel this was between the two previous rounds. I was wrong. Next Week: I predict next week’s winner will be a Dutch man named Kevin.

Just wanted to ask Harstem or Hamster or anyone who knows, but in the form with all the individual scores, what does the points in brackets mean and what do the points outside of the brackets mean when looking at the points in the standings? And which is more significant of the two?

i never saw u guys be more bad then the 2nd guess xD i was arguing between bronce and silver and was SHOCKED u guys said platin xD they nedver moved away workers, the terran had 2k with 50 supply ... when one of the players just build 20 regular units a move he would have won ... it was a SILVER HIGH and probably i would have guessed silver 3 since i not expected bronce to send repalys but it felt very bronce xD

For the round 2 how u know if a player is bottom gold or less is The turret and planetary for no purpose at all . Terran low gold like turret for turret .

I did pretty good this time I went Plat 2, Gold 1, Plat 2, Diamond 3. 10 points. I’m pretty happy with that. I was very close to Astreas Plat 2 strategy lol

I was shocked by cannon rusher being plat2. Just the fact that you can do 2probe, one hiding first pylon+cannon and then showing up wins games so much in master that it's hard to imagine it being below dia. Red going 4 cannons above cliff at nat was probably the weakest part. But reasonable proxy nexus into recall and that start of cr really fooled me to think it could be up to m2.

As terrible as I normally am at this game (usually in the 15ish points) I have to gloat on a 0,0,1,0 score. I have to quit watching now as I have reached the pinnacle of rank roulette proficiency and it is only downhill from here.

I would add 5 points to each for that mirror matchup rankings, its obviously TvT > PvP > ZvZ, TvT actually looks like a game of starcraft, not like a 2 drunkards trying to stab each other with a knife

That fourth game pisses me off... How is he diamond 2!? Doing a cheese and not even microing the 3!!! fighting units he has. Wtf man... That game gave me 6 points and that is how I ended up at 10.

Not sure if it's because they are too busy talking but they are missing so many obvious give-aways. IIRC I would have won every single round they played so far. The micro-tells generally make it quite easy to roughly tell apart the leagues. I think instead they have a tendency to overfocus on "this build makes sense". But a diamond and gold player can easily have somewhat similar builds as each other whereas the unit movement will look very different.
