I think being a low-mid diamond player gives you a huge advantage in this compared to being a top GM. Easy to see if the gameplay is around your own level, slightly or a lot worse, slightly or a lot better. When you're a GM all of it just looks awful, and now you have to quantify just how awful

Today, my guesses: Game 1: Platinum 1. (There were some ideas but not much more.) Game 2: Master 2 (I am diamond 2 and this P would have owned me so bad.) Game 3: Plat 3 (I think they are better than Harstem makes them out to be) Game 4: Diamond 3: (Looks slightly worse than my rushes, so that's why I guess that) So this has been... an interesting session.

Idea for BGMWSS: Probes into Prism / SCV into Dropship, unload at your enemies base and mine their minerals. Then load back up and take your free extra minerals back home! They will never recover from such economic damage!

I use 3 hotkeys for units, 4+ for buildings, 4+ for locations, no hotkeys for Queens and I have high MMR :P

The trust is that at the diamond level, NA is much more cheesy than UE, with different cheeses. So with few games in NA, my MMR is worse, but with a lot of games in NA, my MMR is way better. And I try hard only in the UE server, so my MMR is usually better in UE for those reasons.

Relationship goals

I boomed my first guess for 6 points, but came through and guess the other 3 games correctly. That's right, I beat the captain this time. (G3, M2, S1, D3)

16 Points: 8 points in the first 3 rounds, and 8 points in the rest of the rounds. Worse than last week (12), but last week was all 3s, and I did have a 2 guess this time. I’m going to follow Irene’s example, and be excited about the one I did well on. . . . Round 1: D2 (3 Points) - Really simple. Irene said it’s better than her. Harstem said it did look like her. So I went D2. Round 2: GM (3 Points) - My feeling was either low GM or high Masters. I feel the hatch was probably some experimental build and not a reflection on rank. Round 3: G3 (2 Points) - They were at least expanding and trying moves, but many of those moves did not work. (Also finally broke my streak of getting 3 points on every guess for the last 6 rounds) Round 4: S1 (8 Points) - First thought: proxy hatch, this is me! Second thought: I thought I sent a PvZ, not ZvP. Third thought: oh, it’s ravagers, definitely not me. Things like leaving roaches for ages, just didn’t feel super high level. It’s easy to keep money low when you’re rushing on Zerg, because you don’t have drones. I guess I was way off. Next week’s guess: one of America’s finest: the celestial virgin.

IM surprised how polite and holding back you are in front of the GF. At little backbone at home wouldn't hurt.

Harstem is right about the hotkeys. Us old RTS players usually have the hotkeys down pretty quickly. I know fuck-all about starcraft but I've been playing the age of empires series/mythology since I was a wee lil wanker so despite only playing like 10 SC2 games and being bronze I still have different unit types on different hotkeys 👀

I honestly believed that the last one was gold, maybe low platinum at most. Never would have guessed diamond there. The first three were kind of easy to guess, or understandable in retrospect. But no idea why the last one was diamond.

That zvz looked really bad, but one zerg built a viper AND used it. automatically puts them in D3 or better.

1. My guess was plat2. Almost no micro, even with unit groups there was more like F2-ing rather than true micro stuff. Oracles were with 30-40% energy, queens out of position twice and no spores (for lazies like me). All that sounds like my plat league))) 2. Master2. More like intuitive. High level game (plat's point of view) but definitely not a GM. Thus, I stayed in the middle of master league, with no other adequate logic behind it. 3. Gold2. Nydus unloaded with no rallypoint, pure hydra against crapton of banes (technically against everything), no micro whatsoever. 4. Diamond2. Just recently saw how Diamond3 is playing, so... this one is a bit better)))

Looks like Irene being more in touch with the lower leagues might win her the season, or maybe CatZs theory about videos being rigged for or against certain players is true lol Still holding out hope for a Tastosis episode where they compete as one contestant. Especially with Arty having a lot more free time nowadays...

The amount I would have loved to go against either of those in Plat 1... (I am plat 1 to D3...) But those two both were embarrassments...

I guessed plat 1 on the first one there micro seemed a decent bit worse then mine I am usually upper diamond 1 also my off races were d2 my zerg is 1 base muta or swarmhosts so it can be hard to judge unless you know if there off racing .
