Andrew McKee space is fake,Star Wars is about as close as it gets to fake space😂 how have you not realized yet? All them probes they send millions of miles away always show you cartoon cgi just like all space documentaries. It’s photoshopped but it has to be’ -Mr blue marble Star Wars is much more entertaining.
Looking out that window he would be able to see 2% to 3% of the earth’s surface. It’s very simple math, take the actual radius of the earth combined with how far away they orbit from earth and what you get is the ability to see about 3% of the earth’s surface. All the HD pictures they’re supposedly beaming down, are still CGI renderings and NASA does not deny that. It’s takes many many smaller pictures to cover the earth’s surface and with information they create a picture of what it would look like. I’m not a ‘flat earthier’ and I love science, but man when you start digging into what NASA tells us, you’ll find a lot of it is not true. As far as creating the CG renderings of Earth, they don’t even deny it. This will come as shock but we do not have the technology to send a satellite out far enough that it would be able to take an HD photo of the entire earth’s surface, or 50% of since it’s a sphere, and beam down to us. Those photos taken from the moon by the Apollo astronauts, are CG renderings of what it would look like. Again, NASA doesn’t deny that.
"You don't need to strap yourself into a rocket and fly millions of miles away to realize we are all humans together." Couldn't agree more, mushrooms are so much cheaper.
When I was doing my ride-time to become a firefighter, there was a short firefighter (probably around 5'3" - 5'5") at one of the departments I trained at. We got to the scene of a car accident and started speaking with witnesses and quickly realized the short guy wasn't around. We eventually found him inside the crashed car getting vitals and talking to the accident victim. Both doors were too damaged to open, but with his size, he was able to drop in through the sunroof and squat in the passenger seat, giving him access to the driver. Just goes to show, being tall is cool and stuff, but everyone has a purpose...
IMO, these guys might be real.. but like he said, theyre up there swapping out batteries and shit on a flimsy little space station thats just a bunch of shitty tubes.. these guys and the ISS are like just a shitty lil billion dollar program to make it look like we do stuff in space and even these assholes hold a shitton of secrets and provide warped data and info, these guys are up there watching plants grow in space, figuring out what happens when you take a dump in space, etc.. while the actual secret multi-trillion dollar space program probably has anti-gravity spaceships, planetary bases and all kinds of shit we dont know about..
You chose a way smaller universe and a more limited simulation. Basically you are an infinite rich person that is choosing to live like a bum because you got conned. Ha ha enjoy the limits of the prison you put yourself into.
@@GrindHardPeezy umm, how exactly would you condense him talking for 12 minutes into a tiny thumbnail? You can't capture everything in a sentence, and he was disappointed
The way I've come to see it is there is basically two forces involved in our existence, creativity and destruction. Looking for unity is not the latter.
I had the same experience when going to the aquarium. By watching so many HD videos of octopuses and sharks in the tanks , the experience became very slighted.
Sarah medouni sane here. I’m literally mind blown at a an eclipse or seeing the Milky Way. Even seeing certain landscapes on earth gets me in the feels. Can’t imagine being so jaded that the gd PLANET has me like “meh.”
JoshNortonalias en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overview_effect www.universetoday.com/14455/the-human-brain-in-space-euphoria-and-the-overview-effect-experienced-by-astronauts/ Viewing the earth from space is often accompanied by sentiments of unity, a feeling of “profound connection with the universe” It’s also accompanied by sentiments of wanting the best for Earth and humanity, and protecting both. Even if this isn’t a “real” psychological term, my point is that a sociopath in the traditional sense, shouldn’t feel such strong emotions when looking at earth. They even mention Overview Effect in this interview. The astronaut in the video expected to feel it, but didn’t, hence he called the earth “meh” TL;DR it’s just a euphoric feeling that some astronauts have when viewing earth from space first hand.
More like he is a type of guy who goes to space and see the planet Earth and says is like "ehh, just a blue sphere. I've seen on tv" Oh, that's not a joke!!!! He really is that fucking kind of guy!!
@@lunacy9825 From a Biblical perspective, it's not like that. People have freewill, and so does God. God, however, is the only being perfectly capable of holding Himself to a standard...(well, 'cept for the angels, but that's a different story). The standard He holds Himself to love. Part of love is justice. Now, suppose you're God. You decided to create the universe--heaven and earth--and fill it sentient beings with freewill. Freewill means they choose whether or not they do their part in the system you created or tear it down is up to each individual (Freewill does not mean you literally can do anything you want (interactions between other beings have to happen eventually); it means that you can set your intended course of action as far is you are capable. This includes what you are able to do physically, mentally, and spiritually). Why would you give each agent what might as well be full autonomy? Love desires to spread but is only truly love if it is freely given and received. Now that all spiritual agents have freewill. There is going to need to be someone whose job it is to sustain it from decay, protect it from evil, and prevent it from falling into chaos. Basically, they would need to king. Now, technically, anyone could hold the office, but no one can fulfill it. Furthermore, if they are given the power to do so, how can the society--on and above the earth--be sure it is running how it should be? The only being capable of that is the one who is most intimately knowledgeable about it: the one who created it. Therefore, God is the only being that should even be on the throne by not only His right as the Master Creator but also the requirements of office. Since God is the only entity that should be King and He is a loving God, the only loving thing God could do is be King. As King, though, He can't just ignore problems; He has to solve them. Among those is sin. I could go more in-depth into the way God is currently solving the problem of sin and evil, but this is a YT comment not a theological paper. Just to oversimplify, under the heavenly government, King is also Judge, and Sin, being under that government, is essentially a criminal issue. Therefore, God must judge. Some portions of judgment happen on earth such as the ending of each of our lives in the physical universe (technically speaking, death isn't the punishment for the entirety of humanity(2 dudes literally didn't die in the past in addition to the coming rapture(don't ask me the mechanics of it. I'm not God, who is not constrained by the laws of physics.)), finite days in the physical are). " "Special smiting" of specific individuals/cities happens because of the spiritual path they choose to follow regardless of consequences. This is why God told Israel to completely annihilate certain city-states: the practices they were doing would be considered wicked by not only God's standard but also that of nonbelievers. Some of the stuff happening in those towns included human sacrifice and bestiality. If any amount of that culture was allowed to continue, it could have spread into that of the Israelites(not that it didn't happen, but if your foundation is wrecked, do you really care about an interior hole in a wall?).
Eric Allen He wouldn’t touch that subject because they are catering towards sci fi programmed retards. It would be too much of a risk to even mention Earth being stationary here.
The Catmother Quite the contrary. It’s actually time for you to stop pretending you exist any direction besides upright and that we’re all strapped around a lava filled dirt ball that is endlessly ballerina twirling in the air we breathe. Earth isn’t moving, put the bottle full of delusion down and quit pretending people exist below you like a bunch of bats on the other side of the known world.🙃😹🥂
@@stillmatic03 If you're going to be narrow sighted about it. It's entirely possible for people to have nuanced feelings on a subject, and want to specify what they DON'T want to be implied by what they have to say.
@Jane Do when I was listening to this guy talk,I basically got the impression that he is saying space is water.. that's why they train in a pool.they are telling the ones who have eyes and a brain that space isn't a vaccum, but its water..
@Jane Do there's 6 fundamentals of science: Observe Question Research Hypothesis Experiments Analysis. Once the analysis is published, other scientists recreate it in different ways. If they all come to the same conclusion, then it becomes theory. The bible is filled with great lessons, but most of it is horse shit. It seems that you would rather believe a book that's written to control people, than listen to hundreds of years of science, then act like we're the brainwashed ones. Try these fundamentals and I guarantee, you'll find the earth is a ball. Look into vortex math, and the golden ratio, and you'll understand the inner workings of the universe. It's okay that you have an IQ of 80, but don't try to bring others down to your level, when you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. If god existed, he'd want you to constantly expand the beautiful mind he gave you, not be a barely sentient dolt that buys every shiny thing it sees. Good luck on your path of stupidity. God hates you.
I didn’t know who this guy is before but I really like hearing his stories he tells them well and I can only imagine how badass it would be to be in space
Imagine this guy being the first man on the moon. Instead of “one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind” all books and movies would quote “meh” 😂
Uuuummmmm I freaked out when I looked at the moon through a real telescope for the first time and my heart is bearing just thinking of being in a space ship and looking back at earth!!!!!!!!
Finally, I felt the same when I first saw Mount Everest or New York city, if you have seen a picture and have a working imagination, you go a long way to having a pretty good grasp of the experience. People love to exagerate the profundidty of photons hitting your eyeball.
@Cthulhu In the deep Not at all. The earth could be a fucking cube for all we know. The point to consider though is we are being lied to. Something is going on, and they aren't telling us. There is so much documented evidence out there of NASA's lies and deception that you'd be a moron to believe anything they say.
Nonchalont how could it not be overly majestic just imagine looking down at that glowing blue ball like wtf I can’t even comprehend it would be insane I feel sick on a boat after a while of seeing water imagine floating above the fuxking earth
Myles Turner Films yes but you can see more of it’s entirety from further away rather than sitting on its atmosphere. Seeing earth from the moon is to me, personally better
How much of Earth you can see depends where on the moon you are From the permanent far side, you can't see any of it Keep in mind, the most you can ever see of a distant sphere at one time is half at best
I like that he didn’t get discouraged when the other guy told him he would never do a space walk, and in fact, he got the high score and eventually did more than one 👏
BS story. So he struggled like hell underwater, and the suit wouldn’t fit him according to the tall guy, but they actually did shorten the suit and he was the best astronaut walker ever? BS
Hey, excuse me Mr. CIA, while I've got you here, can you maybe stop watching my dreams and putting bugs under my skin? It really distracts me from the quantum computer my dog and I are building. Oh, and I know what you and the mailman are up too, so if you could please give me my kids back too, that'd be great, thanks.
1:38 we got hd footage coming down from space now... oh really but all UFO footage caught in space is filmed with a toaster hmm something doesn't add up
I love the resiliency. The fact that he didn’t let the dude who was mean to him discourage him. Then he didn’t let initially failing stop him. And ultimately he prevailed. That’s beautiful.
I think the most outspoken of this ''Overview Effect'' was the 6th man to walk on the Moon, Dr. Edgar Mitchell (Apollo 14 Lunar Module Pilot) in February 1971. He said that when they were returning from the Moon on a particular calm part of the mission, he looked at the one of the windows of the Command Module and saw at the same time, the Earth, the Sun and the rest of the stars and this celestial vision shook him to his core because he felt that everything in the Universe was connected, an epiphany of immense proportions. Other astronauts such as Mike Collins and Mike Massimino also commented about the effect. Reisman on the other hand didn't felt anything of importance that dramatically changed his worldview and that's fine, some people have different reactions to things. Now, if it was me though, I would never be able to be the same after entering orbit, seeing for the first time the true nature of the cosmos and stare right into the abyss of deep space infinity (which is something that always unsettled me), much less watching Earth rotate under me from the surface of the Moon (like the 12 Apollo astronauts have experienced). Maybe in the future, when space travel will be common place, this kind of effect will be no longer felt on people, but for now, when just a few hundreds of lucky souls have been outside Earth's atmosphere, this will be felt quite strongly in a lot of people.
The Earth's rotation is too slow to see from the moon (you'd notice the change if you didn't look up for a few hours, then looked up again and saw the shift in position of continents or whatnot, but you wouldn't perceive the rotation). Part of why it may have been more profound an effect on the Apollo guys is because, back then, there was essentially no imagery of the Earth from that kind of distance. They were seeing it for the first time in human history. In the modern era, we grow up seeing external pictures of Earth from all sorts of locations (Shuttle, ISS, old Moon mission photos, etc), so while the actual, in-person view might be far more dramatic, it's a view that we are somewhat conditioned to already.
What you said above may be the reason why Neil deGrasse Tyson isn't all that excited to go to space either and says he wants to go to the moon or beyond.
Kael Shade Hey dumbass you believe this shit. You have been brainwashed by NASA. STOP MOTION PUPPET ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NQII-O6Nn2U.html
When you say "we're all in this together' do you mean that us in first world countries are in it together with countries that are war torn and or all those people that die escaping them, or all those disease ridden countries and countries going through famine ect?
@@theodddish1846 I recognize that experiences between countries differs wildly, especially those who are victims of systems such as colonialism and imperialism. However, what I think Reisman was referring to was the fact that we all live on the same planet, are all human, all have some degree of shared experience, and have a responsibility to take care of one another.
I've never had panic attacks but I know for a fact if I was on a spacewalk I would have a full blown panic attack. Kudos to those guys that do it, there's no way I could. That's utterly terrifying.
You need to find a sense of a Spiritual relationship with the Creator/Universe. I'm in awe of everything that is not man made...albiet I understand certain things are dangerous to us humans. It just makes me more in awe of Who created All this....their Intelligence knows no bounds. The thought of Trillions of Universes created is Mind Boggling🤗
So many people are used to people saying what they want to hear, that when somebody is brutally honest they try to shit on them for it. This guy is an amazing story teller
When I do see pictures of earth I just imagine how quiet it is from space just looking down at this planet with creatures who are destroying their planet, wars, violence...but from where you are in space it’s just total silence and peace
