i felt this fear when he started falling in underground mushroom caves.

Meanwhile me and my friend spent 30 minutes figuring out how tethers work XD

I must say, I have only ever watched a friend play this game on stream so I had no idea what to expect, and I was mostly confused at what was happening but definitely impressed 😂 Even without knowing anything about the game I could feel that little stress when you fell into a cave, but damn if it isn't a neat run.

I just posted that on your old record video: Should be faster now that the small generator's output was doubled. Also: I have seen a speedrun in which the runner used a rover seat to move around fast (like with entering and exiting a shuttle constantly, but the shuttle being replaced with a rover seat). You can dive into the cavers with that too. It might be possible to print a rover seat in time and use it to zip over to a gate very quickly, and maybe with some practice even using it to skip cavern levels fast as well. The travel times could be cut more than just in half that way I guess.

Imagine the generators failed to fully power the gateway and you went to the core and saw a barrier

and it still takes me and my friends over an hour and causes a lot of rage 😂

I found out about this on my own in the first 2 days after downloading the game

Its a great game 1 time there was the core on the back of an mountain i explored the mountain and slide to my base for tethers and i have 2 full storage of tethers

So one of my friends started the game and he is already ahead of me within 3 days (I have fully taken the main planet and it’s moon) and he said it took about 2-4 hours for the whole thing and so I said that’s so quick and then I get recommended this thanks youtube

did you have to make multiple duplicates of a save because astroneer doesn't have custom seed generation or did you just know how to locate things that fast on the fly

This isn’t beating the game , beating the game is activating every planets core and go to the unknown structure in space then you have beaten the game , further than that this is a very good speedrun

Okay im confused af. He flattened without a soil container ,didnt take fall damage and used only one quartz to awaken sylvia after only activating 1 of the structures out of the 6 you need to call a planet awakened
