Hey like to ask , can a light pollution filter be used with other filters or will this just not work??? Thanks joe

Do you mean at the same time? So if you would attach one filter after the other? That would be a bad idea in most cases, except if you have the full spectrum camera mood and you want to have the IR-cut and for example a Moon & sky glow filter, but even they usually have an IR-cut layer so you don't need a separate IR-cut filter. I would recommend you to simply get a CLS or UHC filter (UHC is a bit narrower/aggressive) I solved a lot of issues the UHC and I'm using it even when there is new moon because it cuts off light pollution quite well and you can correct the white balance very easy in photoshop.
