Gracias.
Hello! I’m having problems with az GTi 127 with alignment. I’ve contacted sky watcher with the issue I’m having. I try what they tell me to do. I’m operating it on az mode. I make sure the tri pod is level along with the motor being level and the telescope being pointing north and I align it with three stars and it still will not track or find the objects I want to see.
Hey, have you had any issues with backlash or having to "tune" this unit for it to work properly? I have seen some videos where they basically had to take the whole unit apart to tune it to fix backlash? If that is the case, then I am NOT wasting my money on this!
Hi Tadej, Thank you for continuing your RU-vid sessions. When you first started posting your RU-vid videos, it was watching your videos that I decided to get into Astrophotography, leaping from visual astronomy to Digital. I bought a SkyWatcher AZ-GTI for portability, a RedCat 51, and an ASIAir. Your videos inspired me with what you were capable of doing with your setup. Secondly, your explanations helped me set up my ASIAir with the AZ-GTI. I've watched all your videos that you''ve posted since you started uploading them on RU-vid. Although I've never posted any comments on any channel ever, this is my first comment and I'm making it to you. I've watched many other channels on astrophotography since then, but I've always come back to your channel looking forward to seeing what you've done next. I encourage you to continue your channel, as I see others like Astrobackyard, Cuiz, The Lazy Geek, Nebula Photos, Astoblender, Dylan O'Donnel etc., are doing well with their channels. I put You right up there with them. You have the technical knowledge and capabilities of growing your channel as well. I think I'm not the only one who believes this. Sometimes it's nice to know that you're making a difference, that your passion for this hobby is inspiring others out there. From an old guy in Canada - Thanks again for your inspiring videos. Clear Skies.
Ahhhh sheeeet, first time using any type of tracking mount last week, managed to track and even take a few shots of Orion nebula and andromeda, I noticed when I checked my images that the mount wasn’t tracking as good as it should have been my objects were slowly drifting, even in my 30s exposures you couldn’t see star trails but flicking through the subs you could definitely see it drifting. I bet I didn’t guide properly by tracking my object. Thanks for the tip!
OMG. wasted ½ day watching some guy have me dowload half the content of the internet, input hundreds of values etc and all I really need to know is right here in simple form. Thank you so much.
Hi Tadej, how long do you able work in autoguide?Because with my Eq3syn + asiair pro I have alaways trouble (about the screws I think) and I dont able to take shoot too long (max 60s).Which parameters do you fix in autoguide? Thanks a lot!
Thanks for the video. It is very useful! I want to do it with my 1100D but I wonder about the screws for the sensor. Since there are two pieces of glass missing, do we need to compensate for it somehow to get proper focus?
Has got to be one of the best, to the point, good interface and explanation about this mount in eq and its compatibility with sky safari as well as alignment and more. I know a lot of people covered this mount turned into eq. But nothing as quick and concise as this video! Thanks for sharing!
What is the longest exposure are everyone getting without problems? I'm considering this cheaper setup to the new Star Adventurer GTI which is $100 more with easier setup.
You may want to try and increase your guide speed for your mount to see if that helps improve your overall RMS error. I have found it help with backlash in my case.
I appreciate the video!! I have everything done perfectly, the only thing is my arrow pad doesn't work because I can't get the blue ribbon in. I can't get it to lock in to the board. Did you experience those issues at all?
Hey Todd, I'm very sorry for the late reply, and this is a very basic question but did you push the pin there the right way to lock it, because not all of them go in the same direction.
I bought it in a local store so I can't point you to the exact Power bank I have but I'll give you the most essential information on what you should look for. it should have at least 10.000mAh, 5V/2A
