He is like the pied piper or the head lemming, and all the people who pretend to know baseball blow off stupidity and anger following him down the social media hole. He doesn’t think about anything except his numbers and the almighty dollar, educate yourself.
His breakdowns are the only baseball I watch anymore. I don’t watch MLB on my TV anymore. I’m done. When they start to respect the country they live in, which is the greatest country in the world, I might start watching them again. But until then, I’m done.
For me, it was when the Cleveland baseball club became the Cleveland guardians. Every time I hear it, I think of guardians of the galaxy. And to think the Cleveland spiders was just a bridge too far…
The pitcher came in, walked the 1st guy to load the bases, gave up a grand slam to the 2nd, then hit the 3rd batter he faced and got ejected. That just might be the worst appearance in the history of baseball.
I think getting thrown out was the best outcome for the pitcher here, he can act like he hit the guy on purpose and didn't just have the worst outing ever.
Not really. In Game 5 of the 2017 World Series, Brandon Morrow of the Dodgers came in and threw a total of 6 pitches while facing 4 batters, and it goes- homerun, single, double, strike, wild pitch, home run. Gave up 4 runs on 6 pitches.
i remember being 8 years old playing ice hockey and my coach would flip out and throw the sticks and water bottles on the ice while screaming "that's horse shit ref" i'm now 40 and those memories are golden, something about the best coaches regardless of sport like to scream "that's horse shit". RIP coach, you were hard on us but you changed my life and helped be grow into a man, you gave me a thick skin and an indomitable work ethic that still serves me well to this day. still a hero of mine and always will be.
@@scottbilger9294: Pitcher noticeably switched from tossing breaking balls to firing beanballs. Intent, post-granny, was obvious. Run the pitcher, play on.
And he's heading down the same path... To over commercialized and crap filler content. Time to find a new RU-vidr like Jimmy with 1/5th the subs and twice the effort without all the bs
@@Tirgo69 they probably think they are better off without ESPN or going to be bigger in a few years but they are pretty much the same now, boring, repetitive, care too much about sponsors/money probably could add more but not really trying to trash jimmy just calling it how I see it
Scott S is normally so calm and cool, for him to be that fired up took everybody by surprise, even the Astros coach who was so awestruck he didn't even have anything to say
He wasn’t the coach. Dusty is the coach. You don’t argue or trade insults with the other manager if you’re a pitching coach or something else. Servais had every right to put him in his place.
I like his creativity. He doesn't just read scripts; he adds his own flair and comedy. I don't really follow sports - I'd struggle to name teams, let alone players and stats - but I've been watching Jomboy breakdowns for a long time because I enjoy the technical details and his humor.
It's a guarantee after the all star game. Implosion every single time. Like clock work. Everyday now we slide downhill I'm surprised this even happened. It's a glitch in the matrix. A one off.
I know the Mariners don't give you a lot of material, but I always love seeing my team in a breakdown. To be down 7-0 then make that 11-8 comeback was certainly exciting!
As a Mariners fan I love seeing them being talked about lately, also side note at 3:08 I love the guy in the white Jersey above the key bank sign just waving his fist like he ready to fight, it's an all around great vid
@@cameronf5647 Everybody does. The grand slam was satisfying to watch, even if you don't follow baseball at all, because the hitter got all of it. The Mariners celebrating the way they did is what makes baseball fun. You don't really see that in other sports (although hockey is close)- grown men turning into big kids for a moment, and just genuinely enjoying what they do. Of course, the Astros have to try to ruin an awesome moment ( I mean, how often do you see a come-from-behind grand slam?). The Astros really are the villains of baseball. This is agreed upon by 29 fan bases
that transition from breakdown to ad was beautiful, even the smooth face transition, I barely noticed it, thought the ump was pitching Manscape products to the manager himself, 10/10 best Jomboy video yet
@Len Donnelly Butt hurt? I don’t know if I’d call Jom Jom butt hurt. I know what Id call you though. we got a CHEEAAAAATER OVA HEEERE! CHEEETAH SUPPORTAH CHEETAH SUPPORTAH
I had a 300$ bet on Mariners -1.5 last night and I legit turned off TV when it was 6-0 Astros after first inning. Turned on cellphone this morning. Had 890$ in my app. YAY
@@timpoolssentientbeanie5646 How much of a loser do you have to be to actually knock a random person for THE WINNING BET!? Wow! You must be a salty old man, go take a nap and get some rest ✌
Then immediately after the game the Mariners were like “sorry we were mean, we realize y’all are just having trouble with your bullpen. Here take our best reliever (the best in the AL) and don’t worry about us being one game out of the wild card, we will be fine”
It’s ridiculous. As an ms fan it pisses me off that we always make these trades like we don’t want to win. The whole front office is like having heart attacks wondering why the heck we r all of a sudden winning, so they wanted to shut us all up. While I am excited about the trades we might make this week, I’m mad that we made the trade with the ASTROS, and then playing them in a series rn sucks too
@@actionjaxon3676 Not that I think it's an even trade but Toro is a hell of a utility player with flashes of brilliance. If the mariners can get his batting consistent he can be one hell of a weapon.
I was absolutely pissed when I found out we traded Graveman. Happy we got rid of Montero though and super happy we ended up getting Tyler Anderson later in the evening. Let's see what else we are going to do. In the meantime Steckenrider and Seawald are plenty good closer options.
@@chscelebrity8325 one trick pony jokeboy can't help himself but to constantly single out the Astros. He's obsessed... Where's his cute lip reading videos of every other team "cheating?" Astros win their first world series ever... in the wake of a devastated city, where people watched from their devastated homes totally flooded homes, and this fratastic putz makes conspiracy videos WITH NO ACTUAL PROOF, to denigrate the Astros one win? Where's the evidence? Some drum beats? Or did Altuve have secret bugging device? Which games exactly? Which at bats? Eff you and "LETS GOOOO" jokeboy. His one trick show has played itself out. Meanwhile, the Astros will continue to win, legitimately.. like they did in 17, and 19 and into the future. Unless you think they "cheated" in 19 too? @@drew7155 I wish more people can see this reply. Holy shit do you not know an actual ex astros player came out and told mlb, which lead to the gm and coaches coming out as well due to the mlb breathing down their back, saying they in fact were stealing signs. Drew, man what the hell.
@@gturcott1 This is a not a Jack Z move. Jerry has done an amazing job in just 3 years (outside of marte and walker for Jean and Mitch). The farm is sick and the vets are coming cheap. Money ball at its finest.
This took the top for best commentary so far! I fucking love it !!!! I can't believe I wasn't subscribed until now! I been watching for almost a year . Keep it up!!!💪🏿
Can we see a breakdown, that I feel is related to this even between the M’s and Astros on Monday 6/6/22 in the 9th? And can we talk about Taylor Trammel’s solo hype after Julio’s Home run 😂😂
Mather Prez/CEO openly admitted the M's are not so much about winning or keeping players happy; it's ALWAYS about cost/revenue return. Now that fans are heading to the park, it's time to cut expenses, put players in their place, and go looking for low-ball opportunities. I want to be wrong, but...
Just wanted too leave this comment saying I hate and usually skip past the commercials but the way you implement these ads are so flawless and even comedic. Love the breakdowns. Love the transitions. Keep it up man you're getting me (back?) Into baseball.
Horrible trade imo, we couldve traded graveman to a team that is not one of our biggest threats if we want to make the playoffs, and maybe get a decent hitter/pitcher for him
@@sandv1ch82 Yeah, I was scratching my head on that one too. I'm an Astros fan and he looks great! Hopefully the Mariners get someone before the deadline.
Dusty is so old school. He’s like. “I didn’t tell em to hit em, buuut. “(He def told em to hit em) Idk if he deserved to be thrown out, but It is what it is.
That last bit of the manscaped add with the face overlay was the closest I ever got to buying a RU-vid add product just due to the hilarity. Good on you sir
jomboy for president!!! lol keep up the good work, i have not watched this much baseball in many years, and i could not tell you any teams standings or anything. just watch the whole season through these clips
Amazing!! Thank you for breaking down the mariners I love them haha but you could have mentioned they were down like 7-0 pretty much since the 2nd inning lol the game was nuts Great editing also that "ad" at the end where you put your face over the umps was probably the best ad in any video I've seen.
