@ktcarl bro I cut way down on sugar a couple years ago and I had a whole pint of ice cream at like 2am a couple weeks ago, and I swear I woke up the next morning with like a fucking sugar hangover 🤣 I was like wtf is wrong with me rn
@@imnotcreativeenoughh I'm Type 2 diabetic so not only do I have to cut down on sugar but also cut down on foods that make sugar in your system. ie grains and starches. I'll eat a sweet once a week for a treat and of course occasionally there are 2 grains I'll consume....barley and hops.
It's frustrating, but he's only played in 78 out of 122 games....don't know if he's been dealing with injuries or what. I think he's earned and deserves a longer leash than Meyers. He's coming off a career year at the age of 29, and this is his first bad season. Bregman did very little the first half of the year, and finally started to figure it out. I'm not giving up on Chas yet... he's been a big contributer to the team over the previous 3 years, and always hustles. I hope he starts figuring things out.
@@ericmausbach1808 Idk man even Bregman wasn't as bad as Chas has been this season. Hopefully he rebounds next year because this year he's a strikeout machine.
@ktcarl Meyers has 170 more plate appearances than Chas. I think part of the problem is his inconsistent usage. Chas used to be the starting CF on a world series winning team, and now he's a part time bench player.
Im gonna overreact hard AF right now.......Shay Whitcomb is gonna be great. I love his swing, he looks in control of his ABs, i loved everything about his game today. If Bregman leaves, hes our future 3B. If he stays, Whitcomb has a good bit of experience at 1B.
@Brendan-hl6mh but Loperfido had super high K rate. Even in the minors, which is why the Astros kept sending him down and weren't committing to him. I personally never said anything like this about Loperfido. Not any kind of "I'm calling it right now" future predictions anyway. Loved Loperfido, had high hopes for him, but I didn't get the kind of impression I just got from Whitcomb. Tbf, I think getting every day ABs in AAA all a season, absolutely crushing all year, has really helped him be ready for action at the MLB level.
I'm getting on the bandwagon with you on this one. When I was watching the game I was thinking Astros found another hitter to bolster the bottom 4 hitters. It's exciting for me!!!! Nice that his 1st major league hit is a double and almost a HR. Hope there's not too much of a season left for opponents pitchers figuring him out.
@ktcarl From what I saw, albeit extremely limited, his swing stays in the zone a long time. That's crucial in minimizing your weaknesses and being able to adjust. I just.....I'm greedy man. I want another star on this team

A lot better job pitching to Robert Jr. tonight. Yesterday, his first 4 AB's looked similar and had similar results....hit pitches on the inside corner. In a close game they should probably pitch around him, since he's the only dangerous hitter in their lineup....not a whole lot of protection around him in that lineup.

@bobbygetsbanned6049 elbow inflammation. Announced before series that he would miss this weekend. All tests were good, won't go on IL. Just giving him the time off he needs so it doesn't become a bigger problem
