@@OkaySoWhat The Stings went in! There’s nothing like hearing the crowd scream when the dancers complete their assignment. I was happy when the Settes got a great crowd response last week. I wonder if Amber has something new for the field; Or if we’ll get to see more girls dance today.
@@Tristan11406 Oh yeah!! and Hmm I wondering that too, Amber might be giving Shanketta tease with many new field routines lol Lord knows her season would be the perfect one to do that we finally getting to have regular band performances now again lol I honestly went back and watched the first one she did too, and after watching the practice cuts vid I had a total new appreciation for the routine lol BUT Im definitely hear for last weeks routine but if a new one come today YES GAWD too LOL
No they weren’t shook at all. They were waiting to see the Honeybees and Stingettes, because they loved them since they came on the Plains a few years ago.
@@2konly171 My opinion was that ASU and the Stingettes were better the band even if they lost the Football game? Thank goodness we still live in a country where we all can have opinions, right? If you don't like my opinion, then we can agree to disagree.
Can we appreciate the trumpet's solo part starting at 1:13?! Overall, the band demonstrated 1) Honor (9-11 victims), Musicality (Tone and melody), and Dance (Dynamics and versatility) into a powerful and engaging show!
I'am loving the entire MMH Band. They are really putting on a show. Stingettes and Honeybees, hair, uniforms and routines are on point. They really look good. Great job ASU.

@@kashnance2847 No joke. Entertainment was not one of our strong suits. Sinbad has a funny bit in his act about going to school in Colorado and the halftime show comparison between the HBCU bands and the non-HBCU bands.
@Frederick Dantzler And I marched D.C.I. back in the day, so I understand and have taught corps style- as a band director for 35 years-but in the end it's all about entertaining the crowd and that's what gets them on their feet. Do they know the tunes you're playing and can they hum the melodies when you're finished with the show. So many corps style bands alienate the crowds because of the show design and the tunes played. The parents love it but the vast majority of the football crowd couldn't care less how many trophies you won on Saturday. They want to be entertained. I was totally guilty of alienating the Friday night football crowds for so many years just to win a contest in Saturdays. I would do things differently if I had it to do over again I can tell you that.
WOW !!!! Shout out to Alabama state band. The stingette showed off their Ballet liked moved. Not too mention the flag Ladies were unbelievable. I'm pretty sure the Auburn people were surprised at their Althleticism from this great performance. Much Love from Salt Lake city Utah. Former B'ham residence.
I was at this game and got to see this show. You can only have a vague appreciation for the show in comparison to seeing it up close. Hurray to ASU and other HBU band performances! They always "bring it" in true fashion to the African American strong passion and heritage of live music and entertainment!
I was at this game the crowd loved the 1st song the band played. They went wild bc AU put Justin (the white drum major) up on the jumbotron during the Stingettes feature. The really went wild when the Honeybees took the field!!!
Look at the Stands the entire video. The fans knew they can go to concession stands any other time besides halftime. They know about these HBCU Bands like the ole saying....HALFTIME IS GAMETIME.
Yall sounded good. I love when we code switch our music selections for PWIs! But also, we should know/play and be well versed in all sorts of music, not just Urban!
Everything was Marvelous...but the Honey Bee's 🍯 performance was GRANDEUR!!! REMOVE THOSE LADIES FROM THE BACK OF THE LINE AND PUT THEM UPFRONT WITH THE OTHER LADIES!!! 🐝 🐝 🐝

It’s more strategic than anything! They have started a whole tradition of their own!!! Doesn’t matter where they are! Their fans will find them! The have revolutionized this band!!! Stings will always receive their glory but those bees have won the hearts of America!!! Go Hornets
Listennnnn......Once Again... I could have copied and paste my response from last week....Lol!!! The ladies look absolutely Amazing!! The field show was Amazing!! and the Band sound was very Impressive!! Keep it Going State!!
ASU may have lost the game but their band and the Stingettes won the band battle. I wish that Auburn would have not cramped the band up like sardines in the stands with the pandemic happening. Seemed rather disrespectful. The Stingettes did their best but were not able to do their counts like they normally do in the stands.
The band did not have to come. They knew what their seating was going to be before they came. But I enjoyed the band at the game. BTW, there is no band battle. Lol.
@@robs6177 Yeah is that the excuse given for all the bands who Auburn hosts at their games? BTW Auburn was not cramped up like that and their dance team had plenty of room to do their dance counts in the stands. Also you must not be aware of the HBCU bands and dance teams being judged and ranked weekly on various sites on YT. You take care now! lol
Question: why my Honey Bees weren't already in position around the 50 like an actual featured auxiliary? Got them coming in like the Help. That's weird!
