This is not PBT, you can tell by just looking at the keycaps in the original video. What keyboard manufacturers usually do not tell you is that for anything other than US or UK layouts, they usually go with cheap ABS keycaps. Most buyers opt for English/international versions, and so it only makes sense for companies to mass-produce those. For less popular arrangements (e.g. Scandinavian, Hungarian, etc.), making PBT keycaps just simpy is not worth it for them (it would increase manufacturing costs). Being a Hungarian, I know the struggle, since I have been looking for a mechanical keyboard with PBT keycaps (also with Hungarian layout) for ages now to no avail whatsoever. TLDR: If you are after PBT keycaps on any keyboard, you will most probably need to settle for US or UK layouts.
@@szabiii23 Yeah i was eyeing this keyboard since my Logitech G815 was starting to lose the paint on some of the Keycaps after only 5 months, which I was extremely disappointed by. I swore never to buy ABS again, and was super excited about this keyboard. But alas, since I live in a nordic country like this youtuber, I was sad to find that Asus decided to do the non standard keyboard layouts dirty, and only include ABS with those. You can't even buy aftermarket PBT keycaps for this board (at least with nordic layout), so unfortunately it's no-buy for me.

for the keycaps you can use pretty much any standard oem keycaps except the spacebar, backspace, right shift and enter key. you need a specific custom size. the spacebar is 5.5u the backspace is .175u the right shift is 1.5u the enter key is 2u
why would you need replacements lol if you are only using the amount of force a key requires to be pressed then it should have no problem lasting forever
@@blackwng there is no such thing as lasting forever. even double shot pbt keycaps are eventually wear off. why do you think they sell keycaps separately. Rog just don't want their keyboard last for too long. keycaps looks ugly? just buy a new Rog keyboard lmao At the end of the day, DIY keyboard is better investment for long term.
i just got it like 2 days ago on amazon for 130 usd, rn im just worried about where can we get a new set of keycaps with all the fn icons and stuff... i dont thnk asus gonna release a set just for this keyboard :/ lmk if u find where to grab a set
