I have the pleasure of saying that the Zephyrus G14 (2022) is the best laptop purchase I have ever made, being almost the perfect all rounder device. While there are certain software hiccups, I am still extremely pleased with this purchase

Some observations post upload: * The USB ports stay active when the laptop is off, but plugged in. Good for charging up devices. Tested with USB C ports * I had the WiFi card stop being recognised in Windows. Holding the power button down for 60 seconds has fixed the issue thankfully Some silly mistakes I've made: * On the gaming segment, whenever I say 1800p, I actually mean 1600p * The laptop retailed at £1899, not £1800

11:41 i found installing g helper fixed this amd also relized driver 24.2.1 which fixed the mouse choppiness on an external display

Thanks! Great review. Are you able to install the beta bios for USB 4? or it is still unavailable? It is crazy in my opinion as i have the legion 5 2022 6800h and i have the USB 4.0 Bios since june 2023

Yeah you can install the beta BIOS to enable it. On ASUS website it says the last release was only a month ago

Seems like it will be! It's an ASUS, so expect some little niggles here and there, but I certainly don't see why it wouldn't last 5+ years!

Are you still having bad battery life? I see reviews claiming 10+ hours for light office work.

It really depends what I am doing with the laptop. From 100% Windows estimates a between 7 to 9 hours of battery life doing light office work, but that will quickly drop, even if I’m doing something as basic as photoshop. And of course, making sure the dGPU is disabled makes a massive difference
