Nice improvement but 95W seem to be hotter than 140W lamo. Weird but true. Also the Ryzen even hotter for both generations. Does the chip really that hot or the laptop cooling sucked?
95w tgp version gives performance alike to RTX 2060 desktop. Sometimes a little less , like GTX 1070 TI desktop. I bought F15 i7 11800h + 3060(95w tgp) I'm pretty happy with that altough , 💯% Srgb should have been better. Cause this Gpu is quite capable. For video editing and stuff.
In my experience with Asus TUF A15 it's been much closer to rtx 2070 may be it's because 5800h consume less power as compared to 11800h and hence gpu gets better utilised
Nice comparison. I want to buy a cheap rtx3060 laptop but not sure if 2021 model is the right choice since the tdp is low. The current price here for 2021 is RM4000. I think I'll wait for the 2022 model to drop in price (current price is RM5.5k). Thanks a lot
Thanks brother. Although I am quite impressed with year on year improvements with this machine as 20 percent is a big boost in almost every game but I am quite disappointed with gpu not pushing itself at 1080p
Hi. I wanna ask you, can I update my nvidia 3060 95w bios, from 95 to 130w ? Does any firmware? And what is the difference between 3060 95 and 130 or 145w in point of view technical specifications?
Yes it is possible, I have done it on my 3070 its (125w) 140w bios. But you need to research and find what works and not. In my experience it worked normally but other people face problems with USB-C display port connection and other related stuff. Also be aware that you have power brick that can take on extra W and also your VRM temperature. If you have low end laptop with 3060 you usually have low tier vrm. In most cases it should be good and okay. If I where you I would flash 115+15w bios. Instead of the full 140w. Good luck and make backup of your original GPU Bios, Always have minimum of 2 backups stored somewhere.
At 1440p thermals are even better brother. But once GPU gets the 25watt thermal boost GPU limits itself to 115 watts but there is negligible difference as CPU more than makes up for the GPU wattage lost
144 vs 300hz difference is huge in terms of shear numbers but your eyes won't be able to notice it that much but man o man 62.5 sRGB vs 100 sRGB is just so big a difference if you want to make and consume content. Personally I would recommend you 300hz 100 sRGB model
Bro is there any temperature difference between 1080p and 2k? And also what does it feels like to play 1080p on 2k screen, is it blurry or good? Edit:- also please make a video on 1080p vs 2k stats difference ( stats matalab GPU cpu usage and temps vo sab...) Please 🙏😃😇🙇👍👌🙏
In games that are GPU intensive, CPU hardly crosses 80 degree when at 20 to 25 watts. Thermals on CPU front only starts to get worse in case it crosses 40 watt limit. Coming to GPU i don't have a doubt that if had an AC and room temperature would have been 22 to 25 degrees temperature would have hardly crossed even 75 degree mark. Also brother I will definitely be making a comparison video on 1080p in next week or so.
Wish you could hav3 maxed out everything for us to see how it's performs. We're not able to Clearly see actual performance because you've enabled DLSS and even set some settings to medium in some games. But great video though.
Bro if we use Asus tuff a15 2021 in turbo mod while gaming in regular use so is this safe or not ? Because while we are gaming in turbo or performance mode fans speed is very high and noise clearly hears so that is the reason i thought about future problems..
Hey bro! Asus tuf a15 with Ryzen 9 5900 and Rtx 3060 95w tgp Asus tuf a17 with ryzen 7 6800 and rtx 3060 140w tgp Which one should i go for? Waiting for your reply brother! Thank you.
Brother the tuf a17 with ryzen 7 6800h and rtx 3060 140w is atleast 20 percent better than the 5900hx model in gaming and believe me that's alot. Please go for asus tuf a17 2022 ryzen 7 6800h rtx 3060 140w. Here's the link if you want to support the channel by purchasing the laptop from here : amzn.to/3vfeth4
I'm tight on budget should I buy Asus tuf A15 spec ryzen 9 5900HX rtx 3060 2021 for free time gaming , 3rd rendering , civil work purposes using softwares like 3dxmax , revit , staad pro , sketchup etc
Hey bro can u tell me why my new laptop asus tuf a15 r6800h rtx 3060 qhd 165htz in msi afterburner becnhmark dont go more than 105 w? I dont see never in game going more like 130 or 140 or 120 allwyas max 110 for what? Help me pls
Asus tuf a15 ryzen 9 5900hx rtx3050 and asus rog strix g17 ryzen 7 6800h rtx 3050. Which one is better in terms of gaming and graphic/video editing jobs? Both almost have same price
@Abhi bhai in one lakh if you want 100% sRGB so you can go for : Acer Predator Helios 300 : dl.flipkart.com/s/PuP5QyuuuN but that laptop have 59Wh battery so back up will be 3 hours at max. Now coming to the part ki apko best performing laptop chahiye to go for Asus TUF A15 2022 Ryzen 9 5900hx rtx 3060 95w : amzn.to/3BgW6vT temperature 90 degrees tk jayege but acer predator se 2times battery life milegi aur 10 percent better gaming performance
Bro Asus tuf 15 with ryzen 7 variant now comes with ryzen 9 5900 with 3060. Have you checked it and I have 1 lakh budget so is it wise for me to go for this ryzen 9 model? Will I be experiencing heating issues?
@vvek bro I will be completely honest with you even with 5800h after 2 months of gaming asus tuf a15 used to reach 92 or 93 degree of temperature on turbo mode even though I never faced a issue where I was like this is really bad or it is thermal throttling. The laptop provided me extremely great performance even when it ran over 90 degrees. So with 5900hx which is slightly more powerful than 5800h temperature will definitely reach 90+ degrees after 2 or 3 months in winters you gonna get 87 to 90 degrees of cpu temperature because of low room temperature but you will never be disappointed with the performance of that laptop for suee
@shubhank bro hopefully my above comment answers your question as well. Also if both or either of you gonna purchase the laptop from Amazon I will request you to use my affiliate link so that I can bring more content and laptop's on this channel in future
@@EngineersZoneYT thankyou brother however I have sidelined this laptop for awhile and I have 2 laptops in mind which is Lenovo legion 5 ry 7 3050 and Nitro 5 ry 7 3060. As I want a laptop which is future proof and can still perform better in the coming years. So any suggestions here 😅. I want to opt for Lenovo but the graphics its not convincing for me and I wanna lean into Nitro but their display, battery and thermals don't seem fine. So what's your suggestion?
If GPU would have maximized to its full potential (which it will at 1440p) the performance difference would be huge as 95watt rtx 3060 is maximizing at 1080p
I am facing an issue I have f15 i5 11400h rtx3060 when I start a game the you watt is around 90-95 but after sometime it drops to 70-75 watt anyone know how to fix it?
Thermal throttling makes the wattage drop when gpu needs to cool down and usually finds the sweet spot for wattage that does not overheat the gpu past its limits. If heat is not the problem then maybe the cpu is taking too much wattage from the power supply. For this to be fixed you would need new drivers for laptop (chipset and graphics) or possibly bios update if its one of the fixes that the bios release addresses.
@@andrewpriest1525 I was thinking the same brother but my bios and drivers are upto date and I am unable to o fix the problem I also contacted the customer care but they didn't have a fix that worked for me
@@thespandilizer444 Thats a shame it could not be resolved. I usually just get my money back on the product and send it back when all else fails as there is clearly a defect in the product. If this can be done under the retail laws of your country i would do so and get a more reliable model for same money.
It depends from whose perspective your are saying. Are you saying this from the perspective of a person who bought a device in 2021 or you are talking about someone who is planning to get last year's model at 1L. I guess if one belong to second category this is a huge huge upgrade + Gaming at 1440 will be atleast 30 to 35 percent better mainly because 95w is getting maxed out at 1080p itself and you gonna get that performance boost for around 20k. But if you are someone who already own 95-100w rtx 3060 I don't think there would be many who would even think about getting a new laptop for new 2 to 3 years after getting a device worth 1.1L last year
@TEj I sold my previous unit to one of my friend so can't do the comparison now also there will atleast be 30 percent difference in performance without a doubt
