Alright ASUS has my money again on this one. 1ms & 144hz is all I need. The colors look amazing too. Thanks for showcasing the footage. I have a ASUS VK 278Q which I have used for 8 yrs and I want to upgrade to 144hz so this monitor is just perfect.
Note: this was only uploaded in 30fps. Check out my latest vid to see 60fps and Gsync is On. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nIPJXI9ZSFM.html
I just got this monitor Asus vg279q 144mhz 1ms 1080p ips monitor, and Asus vg278hv 144mhz 1ms 1080p led and this is like night and day difference love it.im a fps game's perfect.
I wonder what the black levels are like on this vs. the TN panel version? (Asus VG278Q) cause on TN they're pretty ... bad .. especially in darker games like Resident Evil 7.
I dont own that monitor but im 100% sure vg279q is way better because its an ips. Ive compared this to my old ips monitor and my new one is better in terms of color accuracy
Hey brother, do you think its size could be smaller? I mean, do you see the pixels when using this monitor considering it is a 27" one? Do you think it could be smaller or is that a nice monitor?
Still a good monitor. Altho i accidentally bumped it hard when i was moving into another apartment so it now has a permanent vertical line on the screen.
That monitor is capable of 1440p right? If you can afford it then you should go for tht monitor. But try to look if there are better monitors on a 1440p level
Yep. I would recommend this. The only issue i could think of is the vertical line blink that happens once every week or two. Which is normal if you turn on gsync and its not really noticeable.
@@JohnLee256 okay awesome I don't even plan on using g sync. What do you think of the pixel density cause some people think that 27" is too big for 1080p
@@SpySoundKiller Not really. I had a 24" ips monitor before this and the difference in density is not really noticeable. But im not 100% sure as i dont have enough monitors to compare this with. From my perspective, it looks fine.
Why will you not use gsync? Thats the #1 reason why i loved this monitor. If you have a 10 series nvidia gpu you will feel the 144hz power. I wont go back to 60hz. It just hurts my eyes
Pwede malaman anong game visual setting gamit mo?
ngl... i wished everyone did a review with this maybe minus the music and maybe few words in between(but if i was making a video about a monitor, i wouldnt probably say anything too :D) but yeah i was thinking about an LG monitor(same 27inch ips 144hz but had some other features that probably doesnt matter much) that looks better on the ''paper'' but theres just no reviews or anything about it :/and youtube is full with reviews about this one(my 2nd option)
The gameplay itself is around 80fps. But my phone's camera is capped at 60fps. I played the 4k video just to see the clarity, but again, youll only see 1080p coz of the camera used.
@@JohnLee256 Its a 1080p screen. You will just see the 4k vid scaled to 1080p with downscaling done on the connected device. The camera wouldnt have recorded any 4k even if it was a 4k camera as the screen is 1080p :) There is like a "sister" panel which is 4k but which is TN the Asus MG28UQ and then the very pricey IPS and 4k and HDR PG27UQ.
Sguro lamang lng nung msi is curved sya
I saw some backlightbleed at 3:20 Is it that bad in reality or does it look worse because of the camera? This is the blb on my monitor (right) i.imgur.com/NPwa3fl.pngI tried to make it as realistic as possible. It is similar or worse than my image?
I dont see it in reality. Its because of the camera since its recorded on my phone so its just probaby the lighting and camera setting. I actually dont see any backlight bleeding in person.
@@JohnLee256 yeah. I was looking for a good gaming monitor with good colors because i am a photographer so i want to edit my photos enjoying good colors. I am waiting for a review videos so then I really know is this monitor for me.
@@tapioh2283 yea there arent really any decent review about this monitor. I couldnt advise you 100% that this monitor is for photographers because im not sure what your standards are. But so far the colors are accurate. Some say that 1080p is too much for 27" but i dont really see the difference.
